Mojito sounds good but crushed ice for me please Granny.

I would really ask you to think twice and trice before overpayments. Gives the wrong message IMHO and may jeopordise the DMP. Emergency, F&F or finish earlier fund please.

    Ouch on uniform costs

  • Morning all,

I seem to have lods and loads of lists flying around in my head. Why does everything need doing and paying for at once ? I have been totally off the ball in some areas of the budgeting, our Cashflow statement is completely wrong and outdated, bt if I redo it the predators will get less money which I dont want, dont want to risk upsetting them either, so I need to rethink things. Not a job for today though, best I look at that next week when the girls are back at school and I ahve time to think.

Discovered that when I was ill and Mr Pinot was away, I managed to miss two Council Tax payments, needless to say, the court summons for the 14th Sept arrived Saturday. We have spoken to them and explained, they were ok and we dont need to attend court, but as the money had miraculously disappeared where I wasnt on top of it all as I should have been we now have to pay £290 a month in council tax !

We then received a court summons from one of the water rates companies, the sewerage I think. Again I had had the bills but as I was not with it, I forgot to pay that one as well. I have the second water rates bills, they are also red, sitting in front of me as well.

I have some money towards them, but not enough, they have increased ten fold. I am blaming the extra long showers taken by my daughters despite shower timers being installed ( but ignored!) The two bills are £383.00 in total , I have £160 towards them. They have never been this high before, even when we had one of those big above ground pools in the garden which was filled .

So.....they will need speaking to tomorrow. Looks as though I will need to set up some sort of a plan........but today we are off in search of GCSE art equipment ! What Joy !!

I think Im losing the plot, I wrote the above earlier today and somehow managed to post it on poor Alices Diary.........( I have deleted it now !) sure its the last she needs, my rambling on all over her diary. The trouble is, I did write a post for Alice, but thats disappeared, I am wondering if I posted that on the wrong diary too....if anyone finds it, let me know !!!:rotfl:

Oh dear, sounds like you've got yourself in a bit of a muddle today. Perhaps I should make the next lot of Mojitos with a little less alcohol x

That mojito got me into trouble last night Granny. I blame the crushed ice, more surface area for the alcohol.

Ouch on the court summons, glad they are recoverable. If it helps I plot out expected expenses in yellow or red on my spreadsheet and turn them green when they are paid.

Appreciate what you mean re out of date information but least change possible with Preditors me thinks.

    Good luck with shopping.
