Morning All,
Well the wedding was amazing, very very different to the one we went to a few months ago, but beautfiul nonetheless. Its so lovely to see all of the different ideas out there now, once upon a time the favours were a bag of sugared almonds and thats as exciting as it got !! Now there are beautiful cake tables, sweetie tables, Wishing trees, you name it . I think it must be very hard to know when to stop ! We came home with a hige cake, a thousand amazingly decorated cup cakes, the girls bundles of sweets in pretty jars and tiny metal buckets, and cookies galore !!
I wore my outfit from the last wedding, and for the first time since the op rather naughtily squished into my sparkly Dorothy Heels, it was a grand do, and flats just wouldnt have cut it ! The girls dressed up and looked gorgeous, DD2 in her Ebay Top Shop Prom Dress and DD1 in her Bargain Sale Gilly Hicks Number. We were so proud !! They didnt leave the dance floor all night long, boogying along with the best of them, including the Brides Dad who has a bit of a soft spot for the girls and people they had never set eyes on before, they didnt have a care in the world, and it was great to see !! I did manage a very small boogy, but not a lot, it was more of a people watching evening for myself and Mr Pinot. We didnt know that many people there, but it was fun to watch everyone !The bride looked stunning, in a vintagey dress and had a wonderful day . Mr Pinot though was in full MSE mode to the point that in the very grand place, the barstaff added 12.5% service charge to the bill. He refused to pay especially when one coke and one bacardi and coke cost £14.00. He was obviously not their favourite punter of the evening, but Mr Pinot had a point, all they did was pour a bottle of coke into a glass, we could have done that ourselves so why pay 12.5% extra each time, plus the cost of the drinks kept changing all evening and he also clocked a certain member of the barstaff, when he should have filled one glass with coke and given the remaining in the bottle and the other with bacardi and coke and given the remainder of coke in the bottle again, charging for two cokes, and only splitting one bottle between the two drinks and not giving the other bottle and or charging for two, pouring then stashing the remainder of the bottles under the bar to use in others drinks. There was alot of fiddling going on ! Thankgod Mr Pinot was sober and driving !! HH you would have been proud !! Anyway I ramble........funny that ! :rotfl:
So....we finally made it home at 3am , Mr Pinot now back on the next contract, had to be back in central London for 8am this morning. He should now be away for the next 2 weeks or so, as his hours will be 06.30 until 22.30, so to then travel either way would be crazy again. He has been booked into a hotel paid for in advance by the Company we are working for so thats a bonus, but I think he is hoping the hours may change slightly on odd days and he can make it home, even just for the odd evening.
Im off now quickly, will be back in a bit to answer you all. Beware I have a lot to ramble on about today !!

I really want to be able to pay an odd £1 or so off of my debts when I havea few pennies lurking, just to help things along, this is in addition to my agreed repayments.
Does anyone know if this is possible when on a DMP , or will the Predators then demand a higher repayment ? I am guessing they will hence why I have not done this before. If its a larger amount I will put in the the emergency or F&F pot, but if its odd pennies then I wanted to put them to use, although I currently throw them in an old Roses Jar which I try not to raid.
Im just a bit wary of doing so and then the Predators may get greedy for an odd extra couple of quid on a regular basis and it upsets the apple cart which is all bumbling along relatively smoothly at the moment .
Anyone have any idea on this please ??LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I think if it was me I would put them in your pot towards f&f fund, as it'll build up a bit quicker and you won't miss the money. That way, you won't run the risk that one of them will think you can afford to up your payments. Plus it's easier to do it with one Predator and then the others may get snippy about it.
Anyway, here's the alcohol as ordered:

You are a superstar Granny, I am dribbling already at the thought of a chilled Mojito, and the sun is shining here, if only I had the ingrediants . There is only some very sorry looking Mint in the Garden and some ice !
The only problem is those blasted bits of mint that get stuck in your teeth. Many I time I gave the waiter a huge toothy grin when he served the Mojito only to be laughed out of the restaurant by my family when they advised me of the greenery hanging out of my mouth after he had gone !! Not a good look I am afraid, but the taste is worth it !:D I will change my name to Mrs Mojito, it has a certain ring to it dont you think ?!
Yep I do agree with you re the overpayments, and the F&F fund and Roses Pot is where it has been going up until now , it doesnt seem worth upsetting the Predators, but I am soooo impatient to get rid of these numbers ! Grrr !!!
I can tell I am getting back to normal as I want to do everything NOW !!!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

OMG !! How much have I just spend on school uniforms and stuff ?!! This is crazy !!
£110.00 in unifrom shop on blazers x 2 and skirts x 2, one tie and one art apron and one pair of sports socks
£28.00 on online sports store for one sports t shirt and a skort ( passed ont he shorts they both needed and handed down DD1s Sports sweatshirt to DD2, only jsut fits though , DD1 now doesnt have one, so they will have to share !)
£15.00 on Graphics equipment needed for GCSE.
£30.00 spent previously on shirts and tights
Still needed £100 worth of GCSE Art Equipment for DD1, £15 for non refundable locker for DD2, trainers and astros x 2, swimming costume x 1, black joggers x 2, school bags x 2, pencil case bits and pencil cases themselves and sticky back plastic to cover books. Thats all I can think of now, but thats enough to be stressing about for now I think !
Unfortunately we are waiting to be paid, so have had to dip into emergency funds again, but I am hoping I can repay it once the money shows but I wont be keeping my fingers crossed there ! :eek:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
