I am at work and so only a short post for now, but reading pre-christmas where you talked about people taking advantage of you and not inviting you to cinema outings etc. I am sorry if I am speaking out of turn here, but I don't think these people can be your true friends. Something springs to mind about keep your enemies closer, but these people sound like they are just taking complete advantage over your good nature.
I have in laws who are really good to us and I see other people (relations particularly) who take complete advantage of their natures, including borrowing money for ipads and not paying back etc. and it drives me up the wall
People who let you pay for things all the time and talk about how much money you have are not the type of people I would want as friendsNow us lot, who haven't got pots to pee in - we'd ask you to come to the cinema
:rotfl:
I have spent 33 years being taken advantage of with take take take and I am finally coming round to the fact that I need to say "no" sometimes.
Anyway enough of me waffling about how you should bin all your mates offI really should butt out
Bless you being left out with the bin men this morning. I have visions of Mission Impossible music playing in the background as you scale the fence!:rotfl:
Thankyou so much for your lovely post and I do agree with everything you said. I was definately having a bit of a moment when I posted before Christmas and I have distanced myself hugely from those particular people. It was the whole cinema thing with the children that upset me when the girls knew that never ina million years woudl I have not asked or taken their children had they been in a similar situation, but I wont go there again or I will never stop !! :rotfl: Please dont think you should butt out its lovely to hear other peoples opinions, if I didnt want them I wouldnt have posted. It really is appreciated so feel free to waffle away to your hearts content ! I can take it !
Next time I get locked out I will make sure I have my ipod in my pocket so that I can play suitably dramatic music as I set out on my Adventures !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

After my adventures of this morning, the day continued in fine form !! After finally dragging myself away from here ( It really is far too addictive!) I got stuck into lots of lovely cleaning !
Mr Pinot arrived home , my Dad had been taking his medicine incorrectly, hence the illness, so hopefully now he has been shown yet again what to do he will be on the mend
The postie arrived - oh how I love him today -
As posted elsewhere on another thread, he popped two lovely letters through the door from MBNA for two different accounts advising that they will accept our CASHflow payment offers and that interest will be frozen ( for now at least ) Whoopee !!!!:T
Santander sent another really stupid letter asking again for the arrears . Have they not read my letters, silly people !
And Tax disc for Mr Pinots car arrived , paid for a whole year this time ....thats not happened for a long time !
So after a shaky start to the day all was going well, I emailed my CASHflow advisor, saying thankyou again ( he will think Im stalking him if I dont watch out !)
Then as I had been cleaning all day and was slightly whiffy I'm sure, I decided to jump in the shower , Mr Pinot in the meantime said he was off outside to take the reindeers out of the front garden as they had been forgotten. I emerged a very long time later, called out to Mr Pinot to see if he was ok, but got no answer . I heard a commotion going on outside but chose to ignore it and carried on sorting myself out, after a while Mr Pinot appeared, shivering, coughing and not too pleased with me for some reason ! The silly fool had only got himself locked out for the whole time I was in the shower , thankfully he was fully clothed although only in a t shirt and it has been pretty damn cold out there today ! He had been calling ,banging on the door etc while I was blissfully singing to myself in the shower. With no other option, Mr Pinot had to follow my lead and also scale the dizzy heights of the 7 foot locked gates to get back into the house. Now I can assureyou , Mr Pinot is slightly larger and not necessarily as graceful as my goodself, god forbid anybody who was watching his escapade.:D Am concerned now that the neighbours think we are both in training for some dodgy Assault Course Themed Reality Show !!! Oh how I wish Id seen him !!:rotfl:
Anyway on another note:-
DD2 informed me that actually its only her Jazz shoes that dont fit, not the tap and ballet so that will save a small fortune !
I paid all of the creditors today having been paid at last ( a week late, but we have it now !)
Dance fees were due today, I thought it was next week, ho hum !
Mr Pinot cooked a lovely dinner, while the girls danced and I made a speedy visit to check on my parents, so all in all its been a very entertaining day for the Pinot Family !
Oh, and DD1 passed her Ballet Exam :T
Oh and a Roof Tile came off in the wind narrowly missing the car !
Hope you all have a lovely evening xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Well there's never a dull moment in your house.:rotfl:
I reckon there's a chance you could solve all your money problems by being signed up by a reality TV company! Makes my day seem so dull by comparison although normally three teenage sons means its far from anything I'd call normal.:D:D
Oh we have had a red wine on a cream carpet incident this evening DS1 is a walking disaster but he say's I should have drunk it then he would't have knocked it over! DH had to make an emergency Tesco trip:(
Glad you had some positive letters from some creditors. Its another step in the taking back control. Love your positive attitude.

Hey Louby Lou, I bet your house has its fair share of dramas with three teenagers boys in the house !
Did you sort out the Red Wine incident you poor thing ? We done that when we moved into the house, 2 day old cream carpet with a bottle of red all over it ! We used a bottle white tipped on top and it came up good as new. How is your looking ? What a sad waste of a good bottle of red
Hope you have a good weekend.LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Didnt get a chance to update yesterday, so I'm full of good intention today :-
Managed to get hold of Preview Screening Tickets for Haywire for free :T - then discovered it clashed with DD1 parents evening. I will give those to my niece and her boyfriend I think , or feign illness, bale out of Parents Evneing nad sneak off to the Cinema with Mr Pinot, honestly cant remember the last time we went to the movies together and saw a Grown Up film, not a Cartoon !!
- Heard back from Fredrickson / Capital One - interest was already frozen on this one ( but they were threatening Court Action and the like) , but they are accepting our offers of payment - for the time being, they stress that one very very strongly !!
- Santander, MBNA ( Account number 3 ) and M&S still to hear back from.
Not a good day with work yesterday - two days we were hoping on went away, then the offer of another job came in , one day only but that has gone away now as well, but we are still remaining positive ( ish !) Mr Pinot reminded me that this time last year we had no work at all for January, then we ended up wth about 18days ( its always a tough month). We have 5 this month, but we cant manage on that, doesnt even pay the mortgage !
Set up a Spending Log yesterday, found a great App without the need for spreadsheets etc. Spent ages filling it out yesterday, although its not quite finished, and marvelled at the lovely Pie Charts it was producing for me ! Little things and all that !!!:rotfl:
Bought new school shoes, winter coat ( in sale) , birthday present and couple of odd bits that DD1 needed yesterday . Thats the clothing budget totally blown out of the water now ! It was a funny feeling though as I wandered around the shops with Mr Pinot, as much as I saw loads of clothes and bits I would have liked, there really wasnt that much temptation there to splurge and then panic later. As much as I have never been a major shopping lover, if I was feeling a bit down or low, I would often come home with something to cheer myself up, be it a little bracelet from top shop, a t shirt or something smallish. I have never splurged on massively expensive items for the hell of it, but when I sit and think, all those little purchases that werent really needed do eventually add up. That was another LBM, when I counted the vest tops in every colour you could possibly imagine in my draw ( They appear to be my downfall ! )
Spent £40 in Asda mainly on Fruit, Veg and soem Toiletries and soem flowers for my mum as she is feeling low. I must check out this Rosspa thats been metioned, I will add that to weekend list of things to do I think.
So yesterday really wasnt a NSD, but then again what exactly does constitute a NSD ? If its something already in the budget ( clothes, food) and you buy something from those but nothing extra, does that still count as a NSD, or is it buying absolutley nothing at all however tiny or within your budget ? I think I am clutching at straws here !!:rotfl:
Anyway todays list of bits to do :-
Tackle the mountainous ironing pile ! It is now living in the bath, dont panic the Pinots have been showering instead ! I am lucky enough to have a spare room, but the ironing pile was sooo huge it kept falling over and then blocking the door and we couldnt get in, or I was getting trapped in there and couldnt get out, so the obvious solution to me was to stick it in the bath tub and keep it contained !! I hate ironing
Stalk the Postie again for more news from the Creditors, he keeps bringing Water Rates Bills instead, and White Company Catalogues !
Help DD1 get sorted on a revision timetable for next week
Jolly DD2 into doing some homework ,as she is really tired even after just 3 days at school. Far too early for them to go back after New Year I think.
Take both girls to a party.
Mr Pinot is away working ( Whoopee!!! Not to him being away, but to the work !) this weekend, so I am visiting a friend tonight for a glass of vino and a chat ,as I think both girls are sleeping at their friends. Looking forward to that one !
Catch up on other Diaries ( but also vow not to spend too much time on here !)
I think thats it now, all thats popped into my head at the moment.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Ha Ha ! Hmmm drunken nights out indeed ! Remember well the time we couldnt get in at all, so dragged the tent out of the shed , pitched it in the garden and had a drunken sleep in there :rotfl:
I will let you knwo a bit later re the Cinema Tickets, but definately worth lookingotu for. I took my mum to see The Help last month, the kids Alvin and the Chipmunks and Footloose as well as some others !
Really pleased with the repsonse so far with the creditors although M&S letter has arrived this morning dated 4th Jan saying I am ignoring them !! Seen as all letters were sent ont he same day, same post office all special delivery I would be very surprised if they ahvent received theirs, so best I get onto that one today .
Hope your day goes well xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
