Mustbemad Welcome, I am glad you enjoy reading and hope to hear from you more often now we know you are lurking
I love your cat! My princess stares at the cat flap until you open it for her… I’m sure she thinks it’s automatic!!!
Well done on the charity finds, it’s great when the children get excited about finds… my DS has asked me to take some of his money out of his account so he has a ‘charity shop pot’ because he keeps finding games for £1.50 and thinks it’s wonderful (especially since he was spending £10 plus per game) . I think it does the children a world of good

Mustbemad Welcome, you just reminded me of how one of my cats moves her water/food bowl to the fridge/cupboard if they are empty and then just sits and looks at us:DSuccess means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Thanks for all your kinds replies.
So last night I was looking at shoes and saw Very the Catalogue. I got accepted for a credit account with them with a limit of £500. I am so pleased.
So I have two current accouts, T- Mobile Pay monthly contract, The Very account will hopefully report now.
Is it better to pay the Very account off every month or leave it for minimum payments or pay more than the minimum but not quite if you know what I mean.

Samantha,
i had written a whole reply and lost it!
Personally I have a healthy fear of debt, so I would always pay it off in full when the bill comes in.
In reality paying both the minimum balance or the full balance gives you a green tick on your credit profile and builds it up. But the balance will be on there.
I hope this helps xWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Oh don't worry, I am petrified of being in debt..... I look after my money and am saving for a mortgage but I need some credit or evidence I can pay it. I am stopped there so I have a bank account reporting, the mobile and hopefully Very. I think thats enough.
I am aware Very raise the limits quite quickly and I will endevor to pay it off so I can show I can manage my credit.
My Experian report looks good I think with green lights reporting now. Not six years ago though; its taken taht long to sort it all out with my ex and get it all cleared up.
I am happy now. x3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Sam, you will build up your profile well enough by paying it off in full... and it will help you.
I have a credit card to build my profile. I put my Petrol/Food onto it and pay it off in full each month by only spending what I have in the bank... and setting it aside the second I spend it. I've been doing this for years and my profile is full of green lights... so it really does work.
I am also saving for a mortgage and I have the same savings total as yourself (£20k) i wish you the best of luckWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. It is hard to rebuild after bad credit as you have to look at who will actually lend to you and take the risk.
Thanks for your kind words, I am hoping to meet my half way point in March for my birthday. Although I am fearing it could take much long.....got to keep logging on to keep strong x3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
