  • My CDs and DVDs were collected by a courier in January, after not hearing anything for 2 weeks I emailed turnitintocash.com who acknowedged receipt. Like others on this forum I spent a further 2 months emailing and receiving only standard replies to be patient. Following advice from others on this site I sent a letter giving them 7 days to pay at the begining of April - heard nothing. I filled in an online small claims form. The day after it was deemed served I received an email from turnintocash.com informing me that my order had been processed! They reported that they were unable to pay for a few scratched items. I have however received a cheque for my full order and my court fees.
Although I have had a good outcome it has come with plenty of frustration and I won't be using turnintocash.com again.
  • after struggling with this company since January my advice is this..
    Don't worry or get upset.
Send them a registered letter "pay within this timescale"
When they don't (which they won't) go through the small claims court online
    moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome
It is very simple to register and make a claim. Mine was successful, no problem.
and you get back promptly a cheque for
-what you agreed to on the web page for your items (nothing off for "scratches")
    -interest on the unpaid amount
-the cost of your registered letter
-the cost of the small claims court
    and best of all....
-a feeling of righteous satisfaction of a job well done

Turnintocash are now officially insolvent and administrators have been called in.

Totally predictable and I would quite happily refer to this company as, in my opinion and not that of this site or it's owners, thieves.

My guess is that they never had any intention of paying some of their backlog of customers.

Me too. They owed me just over £100, which I guess I'm never going to see. The PDF from the liquidators is not particularly clear or helpful, so I've got no idea if there's any action I can take.

If anybody else has any ideas or information, I'd be very glad to hear it.
