It's game over, any "assets" the company had would be eaten up by charges from the administrators (after-all, the administrators are first to get paid when a company goes under).

You might be lucky and put a claim in as an unsecured creditor, but it is highly unlikely you will see anything back, if anything you might get something stupid like 0.1p back per £1.

ive ben waiting since jan ive had numerous emails back when ive emailed them saying sorry but we have a back log and the most recent one is dated 30/04 im foaming!
ive reported them to watch dog looked at the small claims procedure but it aint worth my while for how much the fee is to how much my trade is.
However i am yet to receive an email like some, saying they have gone into liquidisation so until i get that i will keep persuing.

what i have noticed now though that isnt giving me much hope the website is gone  what a bunch of b*stardos

You can keep pursuing them in the courts, but what would be the point?

All you can do is register as an unsecure creditor, but most likely you will get back nothing as the "assets" will be sold off cheap to pay for the administrators fees (junior office assistant @ £90 an hour anyone?)

Another user here with the same problem...just deleted the email - looked to me as there was a risk of losing more money if I pursued a claim - those charges at the end put me right off

Wish I had used music magpie

Anyway mine was only £16 but im still unhappy - also agree that martinsmoney should apologise

I know they are unaffiliated and obviously not related to the site and all that jazz but should make users aware of the risk with these startups I suppose
  • Can anyone offer any further details on the upcoming liquidation of this lousy, useless company? Have a box of CDs/DVDs that I'm unlikely to be paid for now. However, if at all possible, I want to get these items back. Where do I stand?

The items were at the receipt and check stage - so had not been 'accepted' under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act. I understand that this means they still belong to me.

I've received the same email complete with PDF. I've tried Campbell Dallas who are the accountancy firm listed on the communication.

I've tried speaking to them to find out what if anything needs to be done on my part with regards to what i received.

They're proving to be as hard to communicate with as TIC is. I've even contacted Watchdog and there seems to be no interest on their behalf.

Have to admit that i used Music Magpie at the same point last year a i'm wishing i'd gone back to them.
  • Just before Christmas 2011, Martin Lewis promoted this website on DAYBREAK of all places...no wonder they got overrun...
Things could have been avoided if they would have just halted taking goods and sorted themselves out over the festive period.
  • Have some information re: creditors meeting in Manchester on Monday 28th May 2012 at UHY Hacker Young.

I've asked for my CDs/DVDs to be returned but the company dealing with the liquidation( Campbell Dallas) are claiming the packages are 'not identifiable'. I informed them that they had a unique order number on each package, but they've said all packages were emptied by TIC on arrival.

Seems a bit strange? Anyone else have ideas or thoughts on the situation? Any legal advice would be much appreciated.
