  • I sent a "final demand" by recorded delivery on 15/03/12 that has been ignored, so I filed my MCOL just now. It only took 15 minutes to complete and I should get a response within 14 days... here's hoping. What a dreadful company!

if anyone needs help with the MCOL just send me a PM, I'd be happy to help.

    Hi all...

I put in my small claims court request on 21/03/12.

Today I received an email from them to say that my goods have been received/checked and they will send a cheque for the initial amount on the next print run.

No mention was made of the fine/fee and not included in the amount they have said they will pay.

I will wait for the cheque and let you know what happens. If they overlook it will have to chase up when they received it etc. Hopefully it will all work out in the end...

I also received the same e-mail after filing my claim, but it would appear they haven't checked my order at all. They've only processed one order even though there were two in the same box. They also said they received a DVD which I know wasn't in there (it must've fell out, I found it after I sent it off). I just wish they'd stop playing games and pay up already!

  • In the same boat as all of you guys. I sent a parcel to turn into cash on 25/01/12 and still not received payment.
I read all your advice but decided to try the online money claim.
Good luck to everyone. Will let you know how I get on.

Did you just complete the online form?
  • I've just filed MCOL claim too!! I've never had to do anything like this before but I've run out of options with this company. Fingers crossed I'll get my much needed cash now.

I've just done the same - had enough of waiting now.

I sent my CD's off on the 18th January. I have e-mailed several times & only got a couple of automated responses.
Today I e-mailed again (as I am now really fed up) and this is what I got:

We understand your frustration and apologise for the delay. We will have your parcel in our warehouse, but due to volume we have been unable to process your trade as of yet, hence your account still showing 'Awaiting Receipt'. We are processing trades in the order that they have been received and you will receive email updates as the status of your trade changes.

    Your patience is much appreciated.

    Regards,

    TurnIntoCash.com

Can you believe it is still not been un-packed since January?
They are a joke & anyone with any sense will stay away.
My amount is not a fortune - but it is the principal of it, they should not be allowed to get away with such bad customer service. No other shop would put their customers through it.

I agree. Their own courier collected my parcels on 07 February 2012 and I still haven't received anything except one e-mail (almost identical to yours) and another automated one. I really didn't want to go to Small Claims as, apart from anything else, I didn't want to part with £25 (I wasn't selling my DVDs for the hell of it, I really needed the cash!) but I felt I didn't have any other option really and a lot of others have taken the same route. I've still got a lot of CDs to trade but I think I'll be dealing with Magpie from now one as they seem to get good comments on here and I'll be giving Turn Into Cash a very wide berth! Hope we get our money!
