Has anybody contacted watchdog about this company (as it will probably be a good story they would be interested in as quite a few people have been affected)?

I'm obviously one of many to be let down by TIC.com. Parcel sent with proof of posting in January and nothing but weak excuses from them since. I feel more let down that I actually consulted MSE site for a company to sell my unwanted CDs to, which is where I found their promotion of TIC.com!

PLEASE anyone thinking of sending your CDs to them, DON'T DO IT - the frustration factor would be eliminated by just giving them away to total strangers in the street.

I will send one final email today, then will take the advice of others on this forum to submit an online Money Claim action against them. I do notice that an editor on this site has recommended we contact Trading Standards......... I have done this, twice and the Manchester branch appears not the slightest bit interested.

I have been advised by Consumer Direct today to send them a letter, stating that they are in breach of contract, and that they have 28 days to send payment otherwise it will go to Small Claims. I'll do this tomorrow and see what happens.

main MSE site mentions site are dealing with massive demand, though all should get monies..

no mention seen on their own site, about this delay though..

Just to rub salt in the wound, I was browsing Amazon earlier and came across the following storefront:

So they are taking the things that they don't pay for for weeks and months and trying to sell them on Amazon for upto £50!!

They had to get money for all the CDs/DVDs/Games somehow, just hoping that someone will buy a £50 cd to make them a decent profit of paying probably 35p for it.

I had my "items has just been received today" email, why can't they say "items have been processed by Gary in arrivals as being arrived"

I wonder how much of the £1.10 they will try to claw back as "damaged case" or various other reasons.

I posted earlier on here... I wrote a formal letter to the manager on 23/02/12 and received no reply. Have sent 3-4 emails prior to that. I submitted a Small Court's claim today also. The amount is only £57 they owe and court fees are like £25.00... but I have gone passed reasonable! I just feel they ought to be made to pay for all the frustration they are causing and unfulfilled promises. If they get stung by having to pay out additional court fees on every order they have lapsed on - hopefully they will mend their ways. This way - am also not risking them 'claiming' that all the goods are damaged and only paying out a fraction of what they owe. I figure also - claim the interest they owe - even if it's only 50p! I've already spent time and money on recorded delivery and phonecalls etc so am seeing that as money owed anyhow!
