I think you might want to edit that statement to "in my ideal world there would be no !!!!!!" because we don't all agree with you and you can only talk for yourself0 -

If you are arguing that even in what you would class as an ideal world !!!!!! would still exist then that is up to you but I strongly disagree.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Thats the biggest cop out Ive heard
My step kids are obviously from divorced parents and no matter how much they tried the playing off against each other it didnt work because as responsible adults, no matter what our feelings were to each other, we all had a duty of care for the kids and we pulled together and backed each other up.0 -

There are controls on !!!!!! too. Parents are as free to use (0r not) parental controls on internet devices as they are to use (or not) safety seats and seatbelts in cars and drive within the speed limits.
There is this thing called freedom of choice TQ, can you understand that it doesn't just apply to you?0 -

Anyway my iPhone doesn't have naked playgirl bunnies on it, I feel quite left out. Did your newspaper article say who I should contact to get these 'naked playgirl bunnies'?0 -

I have no objection to you saying whatever you like. I do object to your implications that other people's point of view are not as valid as yours is though.
Do you get the difference?0 -

I'm out, it's like talking to a computer that is only programmed to understand one thing.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

So no more of this?Torry_Quine wrote:if someone thinks an activity is harmful (in this case pornography) then they have a duty to do what they can to protect others.
In saying thie above you suggest that you believe you have a duty to subject others to your point of view. I don't want to be protected but thank you very much for your concern.0
