As noted, loads of people use !!!!!! together as part of their sex life, some men and women also use it to address miss-matched sex drives, or different tastes, all sorts of reasons.

But you're also missing the point that sex doesn't have to include a partner and masturbation doesn't mean someone is a failure. I am currently single & I'm not interested in going out looking for a relationship or casual sex with 'friends' I could call, because I'm getting over someone that was a hard act to follow! So anything I got into now would most likely end in a bad way. Doesn't mean for a minute that I'm not fullfilling certain needs.

not sure about false expectations but if you like women who are ugly and have plastic boobs or are hanging round their knees

Yes, probably in an ideal world... but what about when you don't have a partner? ( and I assume from what you say that you do) Is one to sublimate every sexual urge because the love of ones life, the person you thought you would be making love with 'forever' has gone?

I was answereing the question which said masturbation was acceptable due to it being natural and so my answer that just because something is natural doesn't mean we have to do it is entirely appropriate.
