Hi Karma,
sorry I missed you there, I hate it when it does that, skips to the next page while I'm posting so I miss one ! Posh lounging around does sound very desirable ... I'd like one of those corner thingy's or a lovely huge squashy old leather thing from where I could watch people through the long floaty curtains that cover my french windows, which will be open to reveal the mini iron balcony thingy that sits above the cafe where I shall go for my breakfast with my devilishly handsome French loverrrrr in Pareee ...

Ok, ok, back to reality & another list I think, far less glamorous but absolutely more practical, realistic & achievable ( in the short term anyway )0 -
I think now might be a good time to write a list of all the things I WONT be buying in 2012 ...
Great idea - then you can read it back in a year's time and have a real good laugh.......:rotfl:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Oh my! Thats quite a list! One question tho - if you haven't used the library book for excel, why are you going to buy one? Its the kind of thing I do all the time, so I'm just wondering
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well Karma,
the thing is, I do want to work my way through the book & learn, but ... I'm actually on my second borrowing of the book & still haven't got past the first page.
I've filled a box with books & music to be charitized & I think there might well be some shoes joining them too
.
The living room is almost clear now, just the small matter of where to put a fully decorated & lit tree  DD is insistent that we keep it up for a while longer.
We do keep getting distracted though; by the Miranda dvds I bought DD for christmas. I know it's probably not entirely appropriate for a 12 year old, but we love her
.
I've now had a text from delivery company to say they'll be delivering between 7 & 9 & will call an hour beforehand . I'm not coherent at 6 in the morning.
I am slightly concerned about the width of the doorways :undecided as in they seem to be 10cm narrower than the sofa measurements on the website. I shall not concern myself about that right now though; I have to find somewhere to put the tree & the dining table that isn't legless behind the old sofa.
Such fun :rotfl:0 -
Well, you have to promise me to spend a long time freeloading in the bookshop, okay? To make sure you buy a book you *want*, y'know :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I know whereof I speak.
Yay to leglessness ...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Don't forget to take one of similar ilk to him so that he has an excuse to drop it back round to yours
Loving your list btw. I don't get twitter either
