    Hi russetred,

I'm afraid that I don't know because I love my fabric conditioner! However, according to this thread the same amount as you would of fabric conditioner.

  • Help!

I've just dug up the last two cabbages from our veg patch. Even after I've removed all the slug and snail damage I've got 3 kg of cabbage left! Given that there are only two of us here and we're not around for a few nights this week has anyone got any suggestions how to store/use it? Could I just shred it and freeze it do you think?

    Many thanks

hello, could i ask all you knowledgeable people for some help please? i would like to make some vegetable crisps in the oven. So far all my efforts have either burned or shriveled up! it's obviously a thickness or temperature issue, can you help. (gas oven).

    Hi gollygosh,

I preheat the oven to it's highest temperature (250 degrees). Then slice the vegetables with a potato peeler so that they're quite thin. Dry off the slices with kitchen paper, put them in a bowl add some chilli or garlic powder and toss around in some olive oil. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer and pop into the hot oven for about 15 minutes. You need to keep a really close eye on them as it's a fine line between being undercooked and burnt! Drain on kitchen paper and add salt and pepper to taste.
