My wok has gone rusty, and the recommendation in my cookbooks are to use cream cleaner - only I've not got any (Stardrops convert) and would rather avoid having to shell out on something I won't use again
Has anyone got any other recommendations? Thank you!
Hi Storm,
According to Kim and Aggie :
To remove rust from cast-iron pans and woks, rub with the cut side of half a potato dipped in concentrated washing-up liquid. Rinse, then wipe with cooking oil and paper towel.

I just went into my kitchen cupboard to fetch out some vinegar to rinse through my washing machine. However my "vinegar" is "non-brewed condiment".
Is this the same thing and will it damage my machine if i use it???Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
I am assuming not many have given their take on this because it's supposed to be a quick Q and A and I think Catowen has put it quite succinctly. I personally don't thank every post and don't think anyone has ever taken offence so it is not a prerequisite to thank everyone before posting just some people's personal preference to do so.

Hi... can't believe I'm asking such a simple question....
I have lolly moulds and low fat fruit yougurts. Can I simply pour the yougurt into the mould and freeze it or do I need to do something else first?
Also... Can I easily add bits of fruit to the mix before freezing?

Hi,
I've recently started buying the natural yougurts, kinda sour, but once you add a bit fresh fruit, gosh, loads better than the mush you get from the supermarket, and you can add what you like, satsuma, clementime, kiwi, or whatever.0 -
Or honey and chopped nuts!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Hi,
I'm a great one for sultanas, if you mix them in natural yougurt, leave them for a day or two, jings, they fairly plump up.0 -
