Thanks all.
Me again - but breathe easy - a foodie question this time! (Horlicks night tonight as OH is home! :rotfl:)
I've got two pork loins which I was going to chop up into a can of Value sweet n sour for tomorrow nights dinner, but how do I get the most out of the pork - I always find it tastless! Do I cover it in the sweet n sour tonight then oven cook it tomorrow? Or do I grill the pork then just cover it on the plate with heated sweet n sour, or something else?
Thanks0 -
I'd try covering them tonight with the sauce so it can seep in a bit. But if anyone suggests marinating them in anything else, I wouldn't argue with them.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Can someone tell me why there are no links to click on in the Slow Cooker Indexed collections? It says 'Pork receipes are collected here:' but there's no icon to click on! I can't get into any of them :mad:0

Eek!
Darn forum software has dumped them. I used picture links. I'm going to have to rebuild it. Bum!
I'll get on it first thing tomorrow 'cos it's way past my bed time and I'm shattered.
Most of those links though - are to posts further down the thread - so you may find what you want by scrolling down.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Skint_Catt, you could also 'search this thread' for pork. I'm not sure which thread that would be, but I'm sure you could work it out ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I opened DH's microwaved pack of kippers this morning (he's not home til 10 tonight so I thought I'd feed him up) and noticed that there were 3 in there - for the princely sum of 56p. Given the nutritional value this could go a long way (if only DSx2 would eat them).
Has anyone ever based a meal on kippers out of these 'boil in the bag' packs? I'll do an internet search for recipes but I'm sure that someone out there will have a tried-and-tested.0 -
anyone got any ideas what i can use to clean permanent hair dye off a toilet seat? seat is wooden with a melamane type coating in white. it now has purply brown splodges on where i didnt realise id splashed drips of dye. I've tried stardrops, toilet cleaner, toothpaste, and lundry stain remover but its not shifting. it seems to have soaked into the finish of the loo seat, dont really want to resort to bleach but i think that might be my only option.
thanks for lookingSPC~12 ot 124

Hiya
I know at first glance that this thread doesn't look like it may help - but the very first answer just might do the trick for you.
