Liver. I hate the stuff, but am being forced to include it in my diet.
It is as simple as whizzing in processor and adding to mince when I make Spag Bol/Tacos/Lasagne etc??
I need to hide it BIG TIME, cos I hate everything about Liver and will know its "there"!!0 -
One lot I think must have had the livers in, the stock was a nasty murky green colour. Would that be the liver? Or is it rank organs?
A liver in giblets may on rare occasions be green. This would reflect bile that entered from a gallbladder. Even though it is unattractive, a green giblet piece is safe to eat.
OK?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I think you're right it is that vile bile.
That'll teach me to pick through the organs next time0 -

Hi, can anyone help me please.
I have some mushrooms to use up (failing that they will go in the freezer, but I'm having pork loin tonight (baked/grilled?) with carrots and fine beans and was thinking of putting the extra mushrooms into some condensed mush sauce as a sauce for the pork.
But any other suggestions? Too late for the SC as I won't be home until 6.30pm.

Hi
I'm making homemade cheese, onion and potato pasties, the recipe makes 4 but I only need 2 so i'm going to freeze the other two, my question is do I cook the other two and then freeze them or do I freeze them uncooked? Hope this makes sense.
Thanks:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Hey OS peeps :hello:
We have a bunch of CDs/DVDs that aren't needed (mostly freebies from weekend papers) and wondered if there's any OS use for them other than the bin? It looks like our area doesn't offer a recycling facility for these at the moment0
