  • Lidl do a spray for bins its ADRITT anti refuse odour spray, it claims 'actively stops odours, fruit flies and mould'
It contains essential oils and doesn't smell unpleasant. I use it to spray around my compost bin when there's loads of fruit flies. ( makes slugs melt ugh!) I also use it in dustbins and kitchen and bathroom bins. can't remember how much it cost but it wasn't a lot and its lasted about two years so far. Though now local council has gone to fortnightly bin collections I may need to re-stock soon.
  • Got rust off toilet with green nylon pan scrubber in the end. Think the vinegar loosened it.

Daft question time I expect - but is it okay to store food/drink in glass containers in the freezer please? Reason for request - wondering how I can buy organic passata (at 3/4 times the price of ordinary  as it is) without making it even dearer per dollop by having to throw most of it away in wastage (as it comes in such large containers that I would only want a little of it).

I'm thinking of using small glass bottles I have - okay, okay - mini wine bottles since you ask!

I'm pretty sure you can't freeze things in glass containers, as the glass will crack.
