  • Same on the Greenwich Line, stood for an hour with no joy. I decided to work from home, eaiser. Got loads done, more or less up to date with the admin side now.

I also managed to bake Bloke's Scooby Doo Birthday Cake.

    Multi tasking or what.

Cleaned up with my bottle of stardrops, brilliant stuff, first time I've used it.

Churchmouse are you planning to come along to the get together on 10th Feb?
    Morning all!

Yep snow here. Must be drifts of ummm at least 2 or 3 cms:rotfl: Consequently DH spent 20 minutes sat on a stationery train between stations because of congestion at Lewisham:rolleyes: Finally got to work 40 minutes late:eek: Goodness only knows what will happen if we have any real snow:rotfl:
Having said that I really don't fancy cleaning off the car to go shopping, so I suppose I'm a proper wuss too! Must say though that it actually feels warmer now that it has snowed.

Well there's loads of washing and ironing with my name on it so I'd best get back to it (and it delays the inevitable car clean, and a visit to Sainsbury's) And must get my lamb into the SC or we'll have to join you PP!!!!

Take care, especially if this snow turns to ice,

    Hello Everyone

Well Mum should be about to be knocked out for her opertation. She'll be out for 4 hours they reckon.

Just heard from the BBC who want to progress my application, so hopefully that's a good sign!

Working till 6.15pm then home to cook dinner. It'll just be pasta with tomatoes and bacon this evening. Then I'll go through the freezer to see what we'll have tomorrow evening.

Well best pretend to be doing some work!!

    Hi everyone!
Hugs to those who need them and welcome to any newbies.
All's well here today and floors have been washed. This evening I'm going to start my monthly menu plan for February and make a start on the accounts as we're a bit behind what with the computer dying on us.
We had snow this morning...I was so overexcited that I woke up the small person just to tell him!! He pelted his friends with snow balls all the way to school but it's all melted now. Boo hoo!
The indoor jogging is going apace now...have hit the heady heights of 27 mins. The only drawback is that the rug I trot up and down on rucks up when I do it and makes a tunnel which my naughty little cat thinks is great to charge up and down through. She is such a tinker!!
Anyway hope you all have a fabby day folks!

PennyPincher - would like to know what you put in yr shepherds pie?

I normally use minced lamb, tin of baked beans, onion, peas and a splash of worcestershire sauce. Obviously buttered mash on top, sometimes with a cheddar top. Serve with veggies.

    Hello everyone
I'm back from CAB, lots of appointments and mainly about debt. January and February really are such a busy months debt counselling wise. The snow has melted away and the rain has started... lovely...
Our puppy is starting to look like a scruffy duster, time for a groom I think. She does not moult at all, therefore occasional cut is necessary. Mind you, will wait for a slightly warmer weather since she might feel a bit cold in short hair.
Children will be back soon, must start to compile a stew from whatever ingredients I have in the cupboard. Have a great day all.

    Thanks for the welcomes:D

Well, was enjoying myself so much on here earlier that I thought my list of things to do was going to fall apart. :o THEN....
The forum started playing up so I abandoned it. Decided to do the jobs and DRIVE to the bank (about a mile) BUT.... Car has puncture so was forced to walk and have gone some way to my target of 10,000 steps:D

So someone up there obviously wants me to achieve something today!!

Still feeling a little strange after stumbling into the bathroom bleary eyed this morning and instead of using my facial wipes to cleanse my face used bathroom cleaning wipes instead:eek:

Fairly woke me up and my face has been a little red all day but on the plus side I have been really shiny and lemony fresh:D
