Hello all, small attempts at snow this morning here in South Yorkshire, and can see its stayed on the hills, but sadly none here.
Off work for the day as yesterday's consultant appointment moved things along very quickly, so I'm in for a local anesthetic and Hysteroscopy & Biopsy this afternoon. The worst thing is, I've just had sprung on me that I may have to make the decision (Whilst he's up there like) whether or not to have a Mirena Coil. I've heard so much conflicting evidence about the rotten things, that I'm really not sure, and just know I won't be fit to make a decision in six hours time.
Anyway, its bought me a day off. I did come on here to take my mind off things, but what with banana cake recipes, and me not supposed to be eating (probably now my favourite hobby) its a bit tough. Looking forward to a pint of tea early evening and maybe a Welshcake (:rotfl: just the one:rotfl: )
Best wishes for what sounds like a very busy day ahead for most of you, and a well deserved break for others.

Lucie wrote:I opted for a meeting in a very public place so she's less likely to make a scene. Sneaky! Plus it's at Cheshire Oaks, so I think a quick mooch around the shops is in order (I'm sure Nels will know of some local bylaw making it illegal to visit & not shop
)
!
Be very very careful Lucie - it isnt only a bylaw - it is INTERNATIONAL Law and if you break it the UN will arrive on your doorstep tonight in their cute little red berets and gorgeous little combat uniforms...............mmmm sorry I digress.................so yes its law:D Hope the meeting goes ok hun that doesnt sound like a pleasant one so a shop will be in order.
Morning
No snow here  in fact its not even that cold.
Working from the office today and a quick scribble first thing produced a 22 point to do list
Dragged some chick pea and chicken casserole out of the freezer (well I think its that:o ) so I'm going to magic some curry sauce and have that with rice for dinner
Right best get on with this unrealistic list I guess.
Congratulations Andrea and big hugs to all
Keep warm

Welcome haribo junkie - love your sig, although im sure like most of us, you are already addicted!!!!!
I WANT SNOW!!!!!! its not fair, but, at least the rain has stopped and we have sunshine now.0 -
Hi all
Yep - no snow here, it's beautifully sunny with just a touch of a breeze. Since I moved back oop norf, they've had nearly all the snow in the SE and we've missed it!! Even have the sledges in the garage waiting......
Taken the boys to school and done a MS job. Need to get that online then must must MUST set to with my business plan (sorry, Nels, it's still not finished)
Currently have the kitchen bin soaking with bleach cos there was a nastly niff coming from there this morning - think it was a piece of manky cooked cauliflower I found lurking at the back of the fridgeIt's too cold to throw open the windows so some nice scented candles for me I reckon
DS2 is out for his tea tonight so I'll have a think about what everyone else is having. Have some lasagne left (veggie or meat options available) but also have a rotisserie chicken I got the other day so think we'll have that with mash and veggies.
Ok, I'm just finishing a mega cuppa rooiboos tea (the vanilla one from Lidl - gorg) so must get on.
((hugs)) to all in need, and congrats to Andrea :T :A :T

Morning everyone,
Just a quick post from me this morning as I really have to get my finger out and do some work!
I just wanted to pop on to say to Kaz re. your son's extra curricular acitivities. I don't have experience of being on a DMP, but would it be a possibility to earn some extra pennies on eBay/Amazon/Green Metropolis or similar? I know that this is how some people on the DFW board get round unexpected issues and expenses like this. Even if you've nothing to sell, could you trawl the car boots and charity shops looking for things to sell on? A lot of effort, I know, but extra effort this got me out of a hole last year.
twink - I'm from very near you - I didn't speak doric as a young child as my parents weren't from there, however - when I got to school, I picked it up quickly. Foos your doos?
Mrs A. and AussieLass - belated happy returns.
Congratulations to Andrea!!!
Lots of love to everyone
