So busy today at work - things now kicking after New year. I am still managing to read about you all but I think my posts might be frugal!

DLB - don't leave it too long to sit them down and talk. I know it won't be easy but sooner rather than later.

Valentine - thinking of you - glad to hear you can speak like Roisin!!

Anyway, loves and hugs to those who have had difficult days with headaches, jury service etc etc!

Just about to have turkey stewed in Campbell's mushroom soup. It smells gorgeuous!.

Just had our dinner and was delicious! 5 portions out of 450 gms of turkey at yellow sticker rate! Can't remember how much because we decanted into freezer bag to save space from the packaging.

Forgot to welcome our dearest baby OSr! Hope she doesn't keep you up too much. Such a big adjustment. If you are breastfeeding, remember, a bottle post 4-6 weeks doesn't go wrong. DD did breast milk and expressing but DGS1 and DGS2 when came for sleepover got formula in a bottle from 6 weeks on for 24 hours and no harm! Just a bit of respite for DD and SIL. I just bought the wee packs of ready to serve milk in the cartons. DGS1 was sooooooooo on call for all sorts of little problems, DGS2, well they were a bit laid back. Now DGC due end of June early July - whatever will look after itself! Throw away the books, just check with us grannies! We brought you lot up and nothing went wrong did it? I will go with the times but some newfangled things are a bit OTTP!

dlb you are such a wonderful mum that you'll sail through this little hiccup I know it.

P.s. having lots of stuff and bragging about it does not go anywhere towards making a nice person!

    Haribo, thanks for the laugh.

Just got PC sorted, whole thing has had to be wiped today, gutted as I have lost all my recipe/shopping etc links, all my folders full of recipes, ideas, lists, prices, spreadsheets etc, you name it it's gone :( so I may even be posting 'stupid questions' over the next few days :( I will restart them, but this time I'm going to buy one of those USB storage things to save them onto aswell!

Sorry not had chance to read it all but I will get round to it, maybe tomorrow, hope everyone is well.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Evening All -

Evening chores done, OH just loading DW up, just about to run the bath for me & kids. Got a banging headache and feel quite sick with it.

Spent all afternoon looking for my rent book, was hoping to pay this months rent after work too, I finally found it at 6.05pm, frustrated wasn't the word!
Still, at least I managed to get some old statements shredded, etc... Will have to do it on Friday now!

DLB, like you say DS2 was strong to come through what you told him ref the adoption, the other 2 will be fine. Think they will just shrug it off. But I agree with grannybroon, sooner rather than later. Goodluck, you no where I am, if you need me. Just yell over the decent part of the fence! lol

Listing day on ebay tomorrow for 10p on Buy it Now items, I dont have many, but I might list a few of my un-sold items. Its DS's birthday soon, so could do with the extra funds.

I was told by a friend at work, that 20p coins work in Netto & Lidl trolleys. Rather than using a £coin. Many a times she's used this. Ive never tried it, Has anyone else?

Anyway, off for a bath now
Have a good night all, take care & love as usual

Hola! :D Qué tal? Me llamo, Queenie :D
I did a 10 week holiday Spanish course last Autumn and I can sooooo empathise on the harder to learn as you get older :rotfl:

Couple of websites I found useful are:-

    http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/ and http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/spanish/

How long is your course? How long have you been doing it?

VickyA - that is just so heartbreaking!!!! That poor man!!!! Ooooh it makes me shake my head and resort to expletives!!! :naughty:

moggins - Is this a good time to admit ... after getting no response from the school ... yesterday evening, I did the other thing :o :shhh: :silenced:

    twink - :j :j :j She's a good 'un, that kyle :T :T :T Wishing you many happy breadmaking hours (and not too much hip expansion :o ) ;)
