Evening all,
We've had no snow here at all, apart from a few flakes at dinnertime - my nursery group didn't get to see it though!
Thanks for the thoughts Twink, phoned today - didn't know whether to wish nephew happy birthday or offer condolences - he wasn't there - so that solved that one - but apparently his birthday has taken his mind off other things, so far so good.
Congrats MSE Andrea x
Well done Jellycat on getting through your first day at work xx
(((hugs))) to anyone who needs or wants one.
Have had a lovely piece of lamb for tea (bargain at £4.00) but kitchen is now a state - must get off and get it sorted.
DH no longer moans at me being on MSE - think he must be getting used to me attaching myself to the comp at any spare moment!
Have a good evening all and I hope we have snow tonight! bb xxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

Shez you are a COMPLETE AND UTTER STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My nearest store is the Croydon one - which is also the easiest one for me to get things from, as my father's partner lives near there and he often comes over here in the car from there.
Will reimburse you in cash, including for petrol, and will ask you round here to join me for some drinks! (then you can have a nosey at the flat as well)

edit: just realised I forgot to say the actual words...

Evening all!
I am tired again and my hands are freezing!! I really should put my gloves on, but shall be cooking in a mo! We're having my bbq chicken speciality... basically it's chicken in bbq sauce, with bacon and sweetcorn in the sauce too, and we usually have it served with rice/potato wedges and veggies. Tis yum. Been using bbq sauce from the jar, but we are eager to make our own so will have to pop to the shop after work tomorrow to pick out any ingredients we might not have in our cupboads!
Work was tiring today but as the teacher I'm covering for had no lessons this afternoon, I got to go home early. When I got home I finished off the latest jewellery order I've had in (my first £30 one!) and just chilled out with OH as he had today off work.
I had to turn down a party for the weekend today too. I'm already doing one on Saturday, but can't do Sunday as it's my Grandads birthday- the first since we lost him in the summer (very unexpectedly, he was 70), so obviously OH and I want to be with my Nan then. Because all the other girls are working, the party had to be cancelled. I know there's nothing I can do with it, but I feel so bad for letting a little kid down! Humpf!
I have 2 Doctors appointments for next week... one for counselling (finally!!) and one for a check up on my meds... going to push to see how long I'm going to have to wait to see the specialists at Haywards Heath... I've not even seen a Rheum since I was diagnosed with FMS a year ago, makes me sick! Looked into private health insurance, but hey guess what? FMS isn't covered! Blah. So it's the NHS or nothing for me!
Had better get that cooking done... going to try again for an early night... so tired!

Queenie you didn't????? LMAO here. You go girl!!!
The dishwasher is loaded, kitchen is cleaned. lunches made, DD's clean underwear brought down to go with her uniform. Two shirts ironed and the recycling taken out. DS is just going in for a bath and the living room is reasonably tidy so I am heading off to bed as soon as DS's bed time arrives. Then I have to take the laundry upstairs and put it away before I can dive into my nice comfy bed. I may take a hot water bottle tonight as my toes were freezing yesterday.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
