  • NSD#14 for me today. It was easy today as I'm in work on an 8-8 shift, so no chance of any spending.

  • (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) Rising, i don't have any more suggestions, but i would definitely recommend the voluntary work, i started doing it a while back to help me over a difficult time & have loved every minute of it!!

((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) Nargle, hope you feel better soon x
BDINI, you get rid of the agents and you get interest straight away, funny that! Fingers crossed one of the potential tenants is perfect for you.

Hmmmm, thats what i was thinking wannabe!

Viewing one (which was the one i said i wasn't sure about after speaking on the phone), was lovely & really liked it, however i'm not sure either her or her guarantor will pass the credit check, so trying to work out if there is any way round it....
Viewing two, will clearly not be in touch, they stayed about 2 minutes & looked with disgust at everything, not sure i'd like them living in my house anyway.
Viewing three (which was my favourite from speaking on the phone), didn't turn up & didn't ring, but then called about 7.30 saying she'd had a family emergency & wanted to rearrange. Bit naughty but i haven't rang her back yet cos i want to see what happens with viewing 1 first....

So still no nearer having any money, but at least i felt like i was doing something.

No NSD's, had to get milk yesterday to take with me, so we could have a cuppa between viewings & grabbed a few groceries today, saw a fab looking recipe for aubergine rolls on tv at my dad's, so hoping to try that one night this week.... No spending planned all week now, so purse will stay firmly shut!!

Feeling not too bad today, took it very easy this morning and let OH sort breakfast and lunch out. I did dinner this evening (very easy - Mr T value gammon joint done in the oven with ready-frozen roast potatoes, carrots, gravy and a home made lemon cake for dessert - just pottered around preparing it, listening to the radio, no stress). Have just ironed a few bits and pieces and am now in PJs with aforementioned cat slippers proudly announcing my 14th NSD so just one to go!

Will try and get to see GP tomorrow to sort out additional medication to calm this thing down. Humunguous great shopping load due from Mr S tomorrow afternoon, DS can't wait to feast his gannet-like eyeballs on all the goodies!
