  • As I thought another spendy day for me today. Found out I am getting some money back for mis-sold ppi. Not a massive amount, but as I didn't really think I would get anything as the loan was paid back over 6 years ago, it was a lovely surprise. Hence the lax spendy mood today.:o

Well not a NSD today but not a massive spend either, despite the fact I feel I've walked miles. Popped into my local town, saw something on Waitrose.com last night for SIL, planned to get that for her xmas but didn't have it instore. Also had stuff to drop at the foodbank, place I was going to go was closed so had to find another drop off point. Popped into Mr S for a couple (literally of items) and wombled a 42p brand match til spit :D Back into Mr W to get smoothie for OH (cheapest of the supermarkets believe it or not ) then off to Mr A for a 'proper' shop. Managed to get £48 to £31-ish but that's out of grocery budget. Then back into town as I remembered I wanted the B1G2F Mariners pies from Mr T, and stopped at Ic*land to get a prawn curry for our old (as in prev abode, although she is also elderly) neighbour - no idea what it's like but she phoned last week asking my to look for one. also gave her one of my mariners pies so lots of karma brownie points for me today :A

Just ordered an annual for my friends little girl online (xmas so doesn't count as part of this challenge) - found a code for free delivery so that's me happy :D

Also placed an online order from Waitrose to try and get the two items I wanted but they didn't have in store. Had to spend £50 to get delivery but luckily they had cat food that pud likes on offer. So, bit of jiggery pokery and an item for OH gift list (for him to give not actually for him) and order is placed. HOWEVER, i have a feeling they pick the order from my local store, which doesn't have the gift I specifically wanted so I suspect it will turn up on Tues sans those :( Can only find one other place online that stocks what I want, not only are the two items £1-£2 more expensive each, there's a £5.99 delivery cost  might just have to bite the bullet on that though else it's going to drive me potty.

gotta run..cat just sat on me for a cuddle (I get no say in the matter and a bum in my face for good measure )
