Got candles from Mr T today as was in nearest town :j
Is a fiver dear for a diary/organiser?
I agree with what's been said - it's probably a typical price for a normal shop, but i'd go for a £land bargain if you can find one!!
Drum roll please....... I have 3 viewings lined up for the house tomorrow!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j
I am trying so hard not to get excited, after everything that's happened i need to prepare for the worst, but this just seems to be the most positive thing that has happened with the house in ages!!
I wasn't very taken with one of them just by the way she sounded on the phone, & i already kind of have a favourite, but i know that's not going to help, so i am going to try really hard to be open minded & i've got my dad & hopefully the next door neighbour for second opinions... wish me luck!!!!
Oh & number 18 please Spoon :j
Think i can squeeze a couple more in, so please can i up my target to 20? Thank you.February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Evening folks - well my Xmas mojo is kinda flicking back into life atm which is progress on earlier this week. Found a great lamp (either for part of my bro's or his gf xmas / birthday gifts - I also owe them both b'day gifts but we tend to do a grand present swap all at once) and thought I'd found a great deal (1/2 price) online, only to find when I tried to pay (also treating myself to one of the lamps) I got an error message - further investigation turns out the company was dissolved last year  and  and
. Still at least they didn't just take my money. Know where else I can get the lamp, just more expensive, but means there's no rush and I'll have a look at in instore before deciding.
Did however get a gorgeous photo from a seller on etsy, my friend has a couple of her prints (one courtesy of me last xmas) and my bro's gf would like one (I hope) so just need to get a frame when it arrives. Also got it at 1/2 price as she had a Black Friday sale on :j
Not a NSD as I got some more cat food (on offer), plus a few bits from the pound shops (porridge for brekkie at work, tin foil, and some oj, as well as splashing out 99p on some LED lights for my desk at work). Oh, and last pack of yellow crocus bulbs for 31p from Mr W. So not too bad on the spend front. :A
Got to do a bit of food shopping tomorrow, some APGs which run out this weekend (most of them wombled) we don't need a lot in so will see if I can get my friends DD1 present from Mr A too using the APG - very MSE
Hope everyone's got some lovely plans for the weekend xx
It didn't take long for you to rediscover your spending mojo:p It is that time of year though! Mind you, I kind of discovered my spending mojo myself today as I visited Mr Sainsbugs meaning to spend around £30 as a top up shop and ended up spending £50:o On a plus though, I did get some bargains. I echo Kerrigts sentiments and hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

IMO it's far too much. I only paid £1 each for some for my DD and myself. Really good ones too. Hope you haven't already paid for it.
BTW, well done on your excellent weight loss. :T
Where did you get yours?

Hi Beanielou, I'm very sorry but I can't remember the name of the shop. It was a stationery shop that sold other stuff such as x-mas decorations and cards. I'll try and find the receipt and see if the name is on. I do know it wasn't a £ shop. Apologies.
Hi again, I was wrong about the shop, it's called the Card Factory, so it must be a card shop that also sells stationery! Lol!

hee hee, you're quite right, although I didn't really enjoy spending today - it all seemed a bit of a chore, everything I did buy was pretty much stuff we needed as we'd run out of (such as tin foil, orange juice) or I'd buy normally and was a good deal (cat food on offer, micro porridge at the £1 shop). My only unecessary spends were the crocus bulbs, and the LED lights at the 99p store, making a grand total of £1.30. Although i did buy some parcel tape at the £1 store (£1 for 2 rolls) since I've managed to flog a few bits on fleabay this week, only to find 1/2 a roll hidden at the back of the draw  still can't complain as it will get used over time.
Sorry guys..waffling....:oFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good luck with the viewings BDINI...hope you get a tenant soon!!
Spendy day today, but hoping for an NSD tomorow. Sunday won't be one as I have a stall at a local Xmas fair, so no doubt will find something to buy too!!! You never know though, last fair I did, I was so busy I had no time to spend!
So busy still, and will be Saturday too, but now able to enjoy everything more...reducing my pain killers means I am less fuggy now too. :j
Have a great weekend everyone, looks like snow is on the way...winter is coming!!!
