Quickie spending update. Had to get petrol today as was in the red thanks to a busy weekend being out and about. That was £45.28 as filled the tank. Used the credit card as think I get cashback for using a shell garage, and will pay it off on friday. :)
Over the weekend we spent £3 on dance, and the remaining £7 on lunch as we went out to a local charter fair to do photos for DP's website and the girls were in a display with the dance school.
Sunday we did the race for life. It was k's first time and we did it in 54 mins. Very proud of my girls and between me and people from work we've so far raised £115 for cancer research at last check. :) k was made up getting a medal for the first time, bless her :)
DP is doing an open uni exam today so going to pick him up later and treat him to dinner as a well done. Will post up this week's budgets when I get home later :) looking forward to saving some this week now we've caught up after paying off very :)

    Budget time!
We ended up spending £17.08 on maccys for dinner. I swear they've put their prices up. However I was naughty and put this on the credit card... *slaps self on wrist* Will pay that off friday though :)

    So here's the week's budget.

    Food £60.00
Petrol £45.28 (to pay off the bcard)
Social £17.08 (to pay off the bcard)
    Bills £204.28
    Dance £10.00

    Total out £336.64
    Total in
    £390.07
    Surplus to savings £53.43

I should hopefully get my expenses this week as well which is another £60 in the savings kitty. Need to also set up the extra car loan standing order. I did go into the bank to try and confirm if the £1 test payment had cleared, but apparently they couldn't tell me as it only refreshes once a month. Of course that also means it'll be difficult to tell if it's clear when my online banking balance for the loan changes as it'll only be £1 different and only shows the balance, not the payments and interest annoyingly. Intend to call them and confirm it's been received before setting up the extra payment. I'm nervy of setting up the extra payment and it not going to the right place!

Can't believe it's the middle of june already. It's payday a week friday! How did that happen??

    Evening all!
Received my expenses cheque today so that's £60 gone into the savings account :) Looking forward to friday when I can add some more!
Didn't go dancing tonight as had a work meeting to go to. Feels weird not going to dance, it's going to totally throw my week off. I'm confused enough as it is! lol!

Hope everyone's had a good day!

Quick update. I finally managed to confirm that the £1 test payment I sent to my loan has cleared, so I've set up an extra £60pm standing order taking the total loan payment per month to £221.28. The snowball calculator shows that with this it'll be cleared December 2013, a whole 8 months early. :)
While I was on my internet banking, I've also increased my mortgage deposit standing order to £60 from £50.

I've had my new tax credit award through after doing my renewal. No overpayments (hurrah!) and my new weekly payment is £162.33. :)

Hope everyone's had a good day!

Have sorted out some small change/cleared out the piggy bank, and have an extra £6.40 to put into the savings account. :) Will update my sig once it's in. Have also updated my sig to show my total amount of savings (ie 'normal' savings and deposit savings, as after all what I don't use on 'one off emergencies' would end up going into the deposit kitty anyway :)

Did my food shopping today, £49.55 in Aldi, £9.43 in ASDA so £58.98 all in.
Last night I went to the cinema with my girlie friends which I costs £15.20 (but my friend gave me some petrol money). Today we're off to see my family which is a fair distance away so will end up needing to put petrol in sooner this week. This evening we're also off to a friend's birthday meal this evening as well so have had to budget about £20 for that. Hoping to be able to save £16.98 presuming I don't have anything else to spend out on. Getting anxious about the summer holiday nursery bill (expected to be easily £1200 ) which will be due next month and that my savings for it aren't building up as quickly as I'd anticipated. I've got £76.01 plus whatever I can save this week. I do have £361 in my mortgage deposit account but this is locked away for 12 months.

Going to have to be a social recluse for the next month I think, not that I really do a lot as it is!!

    Gaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
