Think I probably will end up doing that. I've had a look at things online I could buy, but it just all seems a bit much and a bit of a waste!

Happy fridaaaay! Well.. My equivalent as I'm off work tomorrow, hurrah! Nipped down to the bank this morning to put my birthday money in, and I'm going to stick it in savings. If I find something I absolutely fall in love with enough to buy I might, but in the meantime it might as well earn me some (admittedly pitiful) interest...
Tonight is food shop night so will update again later. The excitement! I should but shares in aldi...

    Evening all!
Have done our food shop £52.30 in Aldi and £13.95 in Asda today. £66.25 in all but this included treats for the girls which my dad gave them pocket money for.
My birthday money which I paid in earlier I've transferred over to my savings account. I did have a look in a couple of shops today but didn't find anything I could justify spending the money on.

I am considering another tattoo though..... :D

Evening all! What a fab birthday weekend. It's been so busy but has been brilliant.
Saturday daytime the girls went to dance (K has decided she wants to start again so spent £8. Then we went out into town to take photos and enjoy the local jubilee celebrations which were a bit disappointing locally to be honest! In the afternoon me and my best girlie friends went horse trekking which was amazing. I want to go again soon! Just a shame it's £40 a pop! Worth it though :)
In the evening DP and I went to one of his work colleague's wedding which was lovely. It was set in the most gorgeous hotel I've ever seen.
Sunday we had a birthday meal with my family, before having a birthday party at mine with our friends which was great ad we had a brilliant night.
Today me and DP went bowling with friends as well while the girls went to a family BBQ. Tonight we're relaxing and recovering mostly! My birthday is actually today but the whole weekend has been so busy and fun it's been the best in a long time.
Looking forward to my bed tonight though! haha :D

Thanks for the birthday messages guys, much appreciated :)
This week has been a busy one. Today I took the girls to see topcat as Ash still have a £10 cineworld voucher leftover from xmas. Topcat was AWFUL but the girls loved it which is the main thing. I'd have been much happier going to see Johnny Depp instead :rotfl:
Today was food shop/petrol day. Ok ok, so I'm a day early but I'm so confused as to what day it is I thought it was Thursday alright? :rotfl:
Anyway, spent £20 on petrol, £40.78 in aldi and £22 in Asda. On top of that spent £13 in the cinema.
This past weekend gone I do have to admit to using my birthday money for my party, buying myself a new dress and perfume/make up. I have about £26 remaining but intend on replacing what I spent ASAP :) It was worth it though.
Have had a bad throat since the weekend which is getting annoying, but whereas mine is just a bad throat, poor DP has ended up with full on manflu so I've been looking after him as much as I can while I was off work. It's quite hard when he lives 5 miles away but I've been doing my best lol!.
Back to work tomorrow. The kids are back in school til Tuesday so they've got a few fays in holiday club to look forward to. Roll on the weekend (already) haha!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Quickie update before I head to bed.
It's fridaaaaay! I think... I'm so confused as to what day it is! I don't PLAN on going to work tomorrow... you watch it be Thursday and me get into trouble for not turning up to work :rotfl:

Have updated my budgets and sig now the min payments have gone out, looks like next week I'll be able start saving having paid off very. Also this week I got an extra £5 tax credits, presumably because I did my renewal last week so guess they've updated it. It all helps!

This weekend's going to be busy again. Tomorrow there's a dance display/parade the girls are in, and on Sunday me and the girls are running the race for life. It's k's first time as well. Should be great fun!

Have realised I've been forgetting to do my spending diary again. Pants!! How rubbish am I? Will start it from tomorrow. What an idiot...
