hi there IA nice to se that things are generally progressing so well for you. I am sure that you will attack your new plan with the same vigour as you have other areas of your life chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks Chev, it's lovely to see you again
I'm annoyed this morning as I'm not able to save the whole £50 I'd planned for the holiday fund, but can only save the normal £30 that goes out by standing order. Very frustrating.
Anyway, current £49.36/£360
I shouldn't moan really, I have saved an extra £19 this week, plus I've got £13 from music magpie to come. It's just annoying not hitting my targets.
Will try and make it up this week comingTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Evening!
What a manic day, but at least I have my stupid ECG machine off, even if I have been rushing round like a headless chicken!
Today I have spent:
£2 on hospital parking
£1.20 on town centre parking
£3 on dance rehearsal for my daughter who's going to be in a dance show later in the month
I forgot that I'm going to have to buy tickets to the dance show as well, at £8 a pop  Pesky kids and their expense :rotfl:
Haven't received the music magpie kit yet, nor have I had chance to have a look and see if there's anything I can sell. Hopefully I'll get time over the weekend. I may even brave using ebay again.. we shall see. Have had bad experiences with ebay/paypal previously so tend to avoid it wherever possible!
Maybe I could sell the kids?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Morning all and happy monday!
Had a manic weekend and trying to not even think about what was spent (other than too much that I really didn't need to).
Haven't got time to do my budgets properly this morning so will do it when I get in tonight. Hope everyone had a good weekend/bonfire night! We went to a local display for all of 5 mins before having to leave as the kids were freaking out *rolls eyes*, so was a complete waste of money. We came home and did some home fireworks instead. Should've done that from the start!
Oh well, c'est la vie.
Happy monday all!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Evening all.
Finally got to do my budgets after a massive anxiety attack because I hadn't checked them since Friday :rotfl: I think if you needed any proof of my moneynerd status that should do nicely!
This week's budgets:
Food £60.00
Petrol £35.00
Social £10.00
School dinners £21.00
Holiday £50.00
Dance £11.50
Bills £263.32
totals
total in £466.95
surplus £16.13 + £8.90 which is in my purse, but I need to buy the dance show tickets which are £8 each  Pesky kids :rotfl:
I've recieved my music magpie kit, so I need to sort out sending that stuff off for another £10. I'm also in the process of sorting out our old clothes to take down to Cash4clothes which pays £5 per 1kg bag
Also good to have a clear out, and even better when you've got an excuse
I'm also off to London on Friday for a work conference, but the transport etc is already paid for so I should be able to keep costs to a bare minimum. I'm having to put in extra petrol this week though due to some extra journeys and needing to go to a work funeral
I seem to be on track or just about for my aim to have the holiday fund paid off by the end of the month, so fingers crossed
Then it's CHRISTMAAAAAASTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I know it's late but I thought I'd pop in for a quickie
Pleased to say I haven't spent anything unneccesary for the past 2 days, even foregoing cake from greggs
I had to get petrol which was in budget, and also went to dancing and paid for our show tickets, again all planned for... but other than that I haven't spent anything so I'm happy with that.
Tomorrow should be another no spend day as I have a day of meetings to look forward to and won't get chance to go out for a wander. Hoping to be on track for saving this week.
Hope everyone is well, nearly half way through the week - we can make it!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Ooh I forgot! Pretty much finished sorting out all of mine and the girls' clothes, and I've got 3 bin bags full of stuff to take to Cash4clothes. Hoping to take them either tomorrow or thursday, and still need to get round to sorting out my music magpie parcel!
Anyone got any hours spare they can lend me?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
