Ooh, lovely. Hope you have a great time. Think my friends and I will be going on a city break to Berlin next summer although I can't afford it! I can't stand the heat so a non beach holiday in northern Europe suits me better although we have to go during the school holidays, thus bumping the price up, as one of my friends is a teacher.

Will check out Music Magpie and I suppose anything is better than nothing. Are there good equivalent sites for books as I can't be bothered listing on ebay and Amazon? How lazy am I? Lol.
Not sure about books other than Amazon. :\

Have a look at green metropolis for your books it MAY do the job.
  • How do! What a typically 'monday' monday. Roll on the weekend :rotfl:

I sent off my musicmagpie parcel today, finally! From experience it normally takes 2-3 weeks for them to process it and for me to get a cheque, so it might not be in time to pay off the holiday fund by the time it gets to me, BUT at least it's something extra that I didn't have before and can go towards xmas. Every little helps as some horrendous supermarket chain keeps saying.

Tonight I'm planning on doing my budgets for the week, as well as looking into Martin's current thing of being able to reclaim tax back if you've had to wash your own work uniforms. I've done 2 jobs in the past 6 years which've involved me having to wear a branded uniform and for me to do laundry at home, so need to have a look into it properly as not 100% sure how it works.

Haven't really got anything else that I can sell if I'm honest, apart from my old bass gear. Trouble is I KNOW I'd regret selling that stuff, so it's best avoided thinking about it! lol

Will update a bit later when I've done my budgets and wotnot.

Hi IA nice to see an update from you, have wondered how you were getting on.

Do you use Quidco a lot, as you may be better switching to topcashback and not losing your fiver a year for membership fees.

How about video games to sell, not sure if this was mainly your ex or both of you, but amazon buy back old games so might be worth investigating (you get a credit into your amazon account).

My daughter has most of the family games, and we have a wii and xbox. She trades in her old games to get new ones she wants. :) I don't get time to play games much nowadays and so most of mine have been long traded in by her ;)

I don't buy much online anymore so only have drips and drabs of stuff coming through from quidco now...
