Hurraaaay it's the weekeeend.
Spends today (within my 'social' budget):
£1.20 on parking in town for an appointment
£1.55 on a bacon roll for breakfast as I got into town early
£4 on 'the book man' order at work for an xmas present for the girls.
My social budget this week is £20 due to going to the dance show tomorrow, and also heading out tonight to check out some xmas lights, so I've for £13.25 left.
We're also going to do my food shop (£70 budget) as well as get some of the girls' xmas presents on my credit card as we've got a rare childfree night and can't guarantee another before xmas so am making the most of it! What's spent on the CC will be repaid with money in December which I would've used to get their presents anyway. I get 30 days interest free on purchases so won't have to pay any extra, but it'll mean less stress and praying on child free time!
Going to take some photos while out seeing the lights, so might post some up later if I get any decent onesTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Evening!
Phew, what a manic weekend. It's literally been non stop what with the dance show yesterday. I've lost track of what I've spent but it's not been that much as I have £11 spare somehow after all my bills/budgets etc. Not sure how I've managed that :rotfl: I've gotten a few more of the girls' xmas presents (pretty done now bar little bits and stocking fillers!) and a present for one of my best friends' birthday's on friday. I'm keeping track of what's going on the credit card though so I can pay it off once the holiday fund is paid Friday. I'm not doing too bad at the minute. Currently stands at £250
Have had a lovely weekend though. Looking forward to wrapping some presents tonight and relaxing. I'm well behind with the housework because of being so busy but sod it, I'll catch up in the week :rotfl:
Hope everyone's had a good weekend.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Evening all!
Had a NSD day today, which is a good job really as I've just received my holiday club bill for the week before xmas after the kids have broken up. £288! For one week! Christ on a bike I'm being held to ransom by my kids...
I've updated my monthly bills budget, and with that it means I have £72.19 spare which of course will be going on paying off what I've spent on xmas shopping on the credit card.
Tomorrow should be an NSD bar paying for dancing. I'm going to try and only spend the £4 needed for class, instead of having a whole £10 and using that on lunch and whatever, so I'll have an extra £6 to spare and save.
Weekly budgets this week should pan out like this:
Food £70.00
Petrol £25.00
Social £20.00
Holiday savings £40.31 (Last of the holiday fund)
Dance £20.00
School dinners £21.00
French club £7.50 (payable every half term for my eldest)
Total out £197.81
total in
£238.34
surplus to pay off CC £40.53
So aiming this week to pay £112.72 off what I've spent on xmas so far. Waiting for the barclaycard to update (it's so slow..) with the correct balance so will update properly on what it stands at once it has, but it's not going to take too long to repay what I've spent anyway. Looking forward to paying off the holiday fund on Friday tooTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
