Morning all! Forgot to update on my NSD's, so sneaking in quickly before work!
Sunday - NSD
Monday - NSD
Tuesday - £4 on dance, 72p on milk, £1 on cat food, £2 on hair bobbles for Ash for the dance show), £1.50 on mince pies :rotfl: (£10 budget for dance allows for some little extras anyway). I have a few pence left which will probably just go into the girls' piggy bank.
Wednesday - Planning on a NSD, and taking my lunch with me as I have been everyday this week. Will update again later!

Fair enough hunny, DS doesn't like most of the school lunch food (waaaay too healthy
) but DD has 1 or 2 a week-usually when it's a roast.

Evening!
So much for my NSD. Nipped into tesco to pick up a xmas present I'd ordered (to be paid off with wages next week) only to end up spending another £20 on the card! Damn it. In my defence £15 of that was on winter hats/gloves for the girls and half price advent calendars :rotfl: It'll be paid off after xmas easily enough but it's still naughty.. *slaps self on wrist*
I didn't spend anything of my weekly budgets though so I suppose that's something! *clutches at straws*
It's payday a week tomorrow so I've been looking at my monthly bill budgets and what I can afford to put towards xmas this year. The holiday fund will be paid off friday (hurrah!!) so anything after that up until christmas will be put towards my xmas budget.
I should have £116 surplus from my bills (which my wages pay cover) to put towards it, plus my usual savings which means in all my xmas budget should be about £374 with nothing extra added to it. DP's main present is already bought, as are a few bits for the girls, so hopefully this should be enough to cover everyone. This also doesn't include any surplus from my December wages which I haven't been able to calculate yet, so we shall see what if anything there is of that and what I use it for. My plan is to start paying off the lower credit card come Jan 1st. Not long to go!

Buh what a day. Have come down with a cold and generally had a crappy day at work. Was brightened up by good results from my girls' parent's evening though so alls well that ends well. Plus tomorrow is friday, a definite bonus...
Today wasn't a NSD. Booo! Had to get some clothes dye to do a shirt for my eldest's dance performance on saturday (Where are you supposed to get a red strappy crop top in November anyway??), and also got some lunch so that was £10 gone right there bar odd pence  Shocking how quickly money disappears.
After some slight tweaking of my budgets to account for it, I'm still on target to save an extra £35 this week into the holiday fund. I've also received the £1 from quidco which has gone straight in the pot (It all helps..) so here's how it's looking now.
Food £70.00
Petrol Already bought
Social £20.00
School dinners £21.00
Holiday £30.00
Dance £10.00 (Girls' classes)
Bills £51.50
total out £202.50
total in
£237.84 surplus to holiday fund £35.34
There's £116.35 in the holiday fund so far, and the £30 standing order tomorrow plus the £35.34 is £181.69/£360, with another £138 ad £30 standing orders next week making £349.69. £10.31 left to find which I can easily pay next friday.
DDay is upon us! Friday 25th November and the holiday will be paid off.Hurrah! Total cost of the holiday was £1800 for 4 of us, and it's taken 18 months to do it, so I'm soooo happy. Our first proper abroad family holiday ever!
So close now!!
