    ;)

I've been happy being 'officially single' since my last marriage ended, but I do miss the whole companionship side of living with someone though. I'm in no rush though, I'm letting whatever happen happen :)

  • Morning all!
Definitely not going to be a no spend day today as I've got a hospital appointment and the parking is extortionate
Going to do my food shopping tonight with a budget of £60. but I don't need all that much and only need essentials so I'm hoping to spend less than that and save some.
Also need to get petrol (budget £25) today! Booooooo! Pesky need to spend money! :rotfl:

  • Afternoon! Got to leave work early due to having to go to the hospital, and I'm currently wired up with a 24 hour ecg *rolls eyes*. Ah the joys of having a freaky heart :rotfl:

Today I have spent (so far - have a tesco run to look forward to later.. joy!)
50p for the girls to get poppies from school (I'm a sucker for puppy dog eyes, what can I say..)
    £2 hospital parking
67p for crisps in the hospital (oh the irony..)
£25.01 petrol (a whole 1p over budget LOL)

Will update on how much out of my £60 food budget we spent later. At the minute I'm too concerned with the frantic itching these damn ECG pads are causing.. argh!!!

On the plus side I've had another £1 confirmed to be paid out soon from Quidco. A whole £1 :rotfl:

I might put it in a high interest account and see how many decades it takes to get it to £2.

  • !!!!!!. Well that didn't go to plan. £64.99 in tesco. I went in with a list and everything, but ended up getting extras such as electric toothbrushes for the girls because they were 2 for £6. Damn it! Oh well. There's always next week.... *rolls eyes*

Feeling really fed up tonight. Going to get an early night and try and sleep with this stupid ECG contraption on me. Can see it being a long night. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Having this monitor on me has made me very aware of my own mortality and it scares the crap out of me, which of course has put me in a horrible mood. Going to go try and relax and thank god it's nearly the weekend...

Long enough that it won't buy half what the pound it started from would...

I should have given you a lift in my car sometime. That would have forced you to confront your own mortality long before now... ;)

More seriously, don't worry about it. While they're still pulling blood, sticking contacts and stuffing you inside giant machines, then you're still alive.

Getting rather warm inside a pine box is the time to worry... ;)
