Morning all.
This morning I've been accepted for the capital one 0% card in Martin's email. It's 0% for 7 months with a low 1.7% fee so going to transfer as much as I can from the big card to that to save me some money too
I applied for the better RBS one with 20 months 0% or something yesterday but was presumably rejected because it didn't go any further than 'here's how a credit rating works and what we do' and didn't give a clear response. You watch it come through now :rotfl:
Looking to try and get away from Barclaycard for good now
Should receive my new capital one card within 5-7 days, and hopefully will get enough to transfer the whole balance, but if not that's the bulk of it on 0% which should save me a fair bit of money and I can get what is left on barclaycard paid off and then close them both!:T
Have a good day all!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Looking forward to the balances being transferred and it being broken up into cheaper and less daunting chunks
Hurrah! Will have to wait and see what limit I get with capital one as it just said 'up to £1500'.
Have had a buyer come to pick up one of my 'preloved' items today and so am £20 up. Just waiting for another who's due to come today which should be another fiver if she turns up.
I've also listed everything that was on gumtree on preloved as well, whereas before I only put a couple up. I seem to be getting a better response from preloved if I'm honest.
and I NEED TO GET IN THE LOFT!!!! :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Forgot to add that I also received the bill for this half term's french club. £15. Boooo. Will pay it next week as my budgets are already worked out for this week!
I've also received a letter stating that my rent is going up £6pw from April. This seems like a massive jump as it's only gone up £1 or two each year before now, and then all of a sudden this year it's £6 extra! I can't complain at all, as being a housing association tenant my rent is ridiculously cheap, it's just the amount of the jump that I take issue with! There's lots of people out there for who an extra £25pm to pay PLUS the inevitable rise in council tax and water would cause real problems!
Still waiting for my other preloved buyer. Starting to think they're not coming and they didn't contact me to let me know which is really annoying! I hate waiting for people though. I'm very impatient!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Typical, my other buyer didn't turn up. What is it with people. It's just plain rude to arrange something and then not even have the courtesy to let them know if you won't be making it! Ah well. Still £20 upTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Afternoon all. It's nearly fridaaaaaaaay. Woop!
You know what that means, it's credit card paying off daaaaay (tm). My favourite day of the week. :rotfl:
Forgot to add yesterday that I had to put in some petrol so £10.02 of my £30 petrol budget was spent and added to my spending diary. Because of that extra 2p my remaining petrol budget is in fact £19.98 :rotfl:
I'm going to have to take our cat to the vets tomorrow, so may not be able to pay the full amount off the card I wanted to. Although he seems fine in himself and quite happy/normal, he's losing patches of hair on his back and inside of his legs so need to get him checked out so have an appointment tomorrow evening. Hopefully it'll be something easily sorted anyway. He hasn't got any fleas and is regularly wormed so he's pretty healthy otherwise
DP is helping me with the loft tonight in exchange for dinner, so will hopefully find some sellable stuff!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Just thrown 3 bags of rubbish out including lots of teenage emotional turmoil stuff, that was not fun to deal with. Thankfully a couple of friends did mini therapy on twitter to help out as OH is at work. My bedroom is starting to feel emptier, I have loads still to pack though not looking forward to it. Glass or two of wine (already had a bottle and it's from a 3 for £10 from asda) only one more day of work then weekend of packing and binning
May have a few bottle of perfum up for grabs at some point I got it cheap at work a few years ago but only really wear one or two.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Well Dp and I finally managed to get up in the loft. In complete honesty there was very little up there, seems in nearly 7 years it's just been used as a place to dump crap. We did find one sellable thing though, an old (and apparently) rare collectible figure which only is selling for about £48! Madness. Have stuck it on gumtree/preloved at £35 anyway so will see what happens.
Haven't done my food shop tonight although me and DP did put the finishing touches to my shopping list. As it's the end of the month I haven't got any money in the account until tomorrow so will do my shopping then after taking the cat to the vets. Poor mite! Hoping the vets won't be too expensive and I can still pay a decent chunk off the card!
