I have good news! My MA emailed me yesterday to say the report had come through and everything was fine so she's sending all the details off to my solicitor woo! Need to ring them when they open and let them know and ask about sorting out a Deed of Trust for the deposit (I'm putting in 4.5x when my boyfriend is putting in so it's just to protect that fact although everything afterwards is going to be paid 50/50).
Updated my sig to say I'm going to pay my OD off with my savings but I'm keeping the figure there because I know I want to pay the money back into my savings as if I'd paid it off (I think that makes sense!).
Fingers crossed everything goes to plan with your budgetHSBC CC - £3000 / £3000
Halifax CC - £1032.77 / £1032.77

Happy belated valentines day all!
Didn't post yesterday as had an evening in with DP for valentines day. I rented a couple of movies and bought popcorn, and he cooked for us which was lovely. We had a really nice night in all. He got me the 'one day' movie too which I've been waiting to come out after reading the book (Which is brilliant, btw..).
Feeling naff today though, had a couple bits of bad news at work which obviously I can't go into on here, but it's put me on a right downer tonight. Decided to jump into my 'happy place' and update my budgets only to find that because of my spends yesterday and today, and my bank account not updating right away I've actually got less spare money than I thought. !!!!!!.Oh well. Updated (and correct) budgets show £59 spare depending on how the food shopping goes and how much the extra session for dance on friday costs, so it's not all bad. Will just have to see how it goes. Might be the first week in March that I get the credit card paid off instead of by the end of february, but it's only a few days difference so I can't be too glum about it!
Hope you all had a nice day yesterday, whatever you did!
Spending diary update:
Yesterday £9.97 on movies/popcorn
Today £3 on milk (if you bought 2 you got a free muppets book, so I got it for the kids)
I've also had my up to date debt statements so I've updated by sig. I'm officially under 6k owed overall! £5996.47 to be exactHurrah!

Quick update before I go get the kids from holiday club.
Left work early today to go pick up my new glasses. Very pleased with them, hurrah! Also went and got cheap petrol in town while I was there. Well, I say cheap, it was 131.9 instead of 136.9! Every little helps, which is ironic as I went to a tesco garage.....
I had a thought about my budgets being lower than I expected, and I have no idea whether my cheque that I put in at the start of the week has cleared yet. This is why I HATE dealing with cheques.. Will have to see what my budgets are tomorrow and see if they're any different.
Ooh, also got the pin for my halifax card come through today, but no card so I still don't know what the credit limit is.. :rotfl: Hopefully it'll turn up tomorrow....
Might have a buyer for my violin too. Anything that gives me extra money to pay off the card will make me a happy lady!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hurraaaaay it's the weeekeeeeeend! Bout time too!
Have checked my bank, and typically the cheque HADN'T cleared before, so I'm back to being better off :rotfl:
I hate cheques. Well, I like the money they bring, but hate the clearing time.
I'm also £10 better off than I thought, so once I've done my food shopping and possibly sold this violin I'll be able to work out exactly what I can pay off
Won't be able to do my ALDI shop until tomorrow now, as once I've dropped the kids off I'll only have 1/2 hr spare until street team practice (which again should be less than what I've budgetted) and ALDI closes at 8 so won't have time. Tempted to go to ASDA for it all, but I know it's more expensive so might put it all off until tomorrow, or just get the essentials from ASDA that I can't get from ALDI tonight...
Oh I dunno.. I'll decide on the go... :rotfl:
Will update again later once I have decided lol
Also the Halifax card didn't turn up today. Typical :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

So thats not daft thats sensible~better in your pocket :grin;
The main thing I dont like bout Aldi is the rush at checkout.
Yesterday checkout person wanted me to put in debit card before all shopping had gone through.
So not sure what all that was about.
I shall stick with it though as as you say so much cheaper.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I think that's to speed up the process at the end. I don't know if it is just me, but I see people getting all the way to having every bag in the trolley, and then the cashier says what the bill is, and then you see the deer in the lights impression.
"I have to PAY?!"
Then they pull the shopping bag out from underneath the other bags, and unzp it, then pull their handbag out, then root in that for their purse, then they hunt around for the card...
At this point, most people in the queue have collapsed from heat stroke.
I just stuff my card in my pocket when I'm in the queue.I shall stick with it though as as you say so much cheaper.
