We all have slip ups
mine was buying some toothpaste and shampoo at work (at cost price, one of the benefits of the job) I needed the toothpaste but I REALLY don't need any more shampoo
Upset the lady of the house we went to the second viewing for today, pointed out they had quite a few patched up bricks on the side of the house after she tried to make us make an offer over the asking price. Ah we're better off without that house, a lot of the bricks were crumbling on inspection during the day and the tiles on the roof didn't look straight compared to the next house.
Going to view a fairly new build apartment on Saturday with my parents, my boyfriend is at work (or he better be, if he's still off sick I'm going to cry as we'll never get a mortgage) so if I like and my parents think it looks OK I'll have to arrange another viewing but this is in a really nice area with like a 5 minute walk to the local metro station and an allocated parking space so would be great.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

ARGH! What have they done to the forums? They're all squishy!! This looks very odd, but I'm sure we'll get used to it. It just seems like a waste of space on the sides! Nevermind.
Quick update, took a tenner out of the bank to pay for dance (budget of £5) which was £4, but I got £6 change, £4 of which was pound coins, so I've put it in the super secret pot. I know it officially means I've overspend my budget but I don't get pound coins that often so I thought I'd make the most of it :rotfl:
Sig updated
Fallenwiccan, sorry to hear the house was no good, but good luck for the next viewingI'm sure you'll find something perfect

That's the first thing I changed. It's in your user options, right at the bottom.

Good eveniiing!
So much to update on today, I'll try and not ramble :rotfl:
Had a busy day today. Could do with a week off I think :rotfl: Tonight I've got to do MORE work too as I'm writing a 'managing your money guide' to be used at work. Need to get it finished! Nightmare.
Today me and my eldest had the dentist. Sadly (Well, not really, as it means I'm not longer classed as being on a low income.. hurrah!) I'm no longer exempt from having to pay, so had to pay for my check up/scale & polish/xrays. Thankfully it only cost £17 but I'm probably going to need more fillings at some point, and already have a fair amount of fillings which need replacing every now and then thanks to having generally iffy teeth thanks to a childhood of not looking after my teeth
I've now signed up to Denplan through my dentist after they assessed me, and its going to be £17.10pm from about March once it's set up. This includes all treatment home & abroad, excluding crowns and nutritionist/hygienist visits every 6 months as well. I'd rather pay regularly in case I need it then end up with massive bills.
So spending diary update is £17 for the dentist, and £2 for chippy chips to treat the girls for being really good at the dentist. This was a compromise as they wanted to go out for a meal to somewhere like Mcdonalds!
Also, typically (and just what I said would happen yesterday) Amazon have credited £15.30 to my account. Damn it :rotfl: Going to have a look and see if there's anything I can get for my street lessons I think, like some new trousers or a top. What I have to wear is very limited! Will have a look anyway.
Going to do my shopping list tonight/tomorrow, need to try and keep it to a minimum to make up for what I've spent, so going to have a root through the freezer/cupboards and try and be creative. Don't want to spend more than £50 if I can help it
I think that's everything.... I'm sure I'll end up having forgotten something :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Crap crapping crappity crap!
Checked my online banking and budgets this morning and was confused to why I was -£69 on my budgets. Now I realise what I've done. I'd budgeted that my council tax wasn't going out this month, when in fact it's NEXT month, and it threw me because of it going out after payday right at the end of January
!!!!!!.
It's not a massive problem, as it just means making it up next week by not being able to pay anything off the credit card as I also have my eye test in the next couple of weeks, think it's next friday. DAMN IT. Going to put me back a week or so in paying off the card.
Serves me right for getting caught out...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

You'll get there, it's frustrating now but in a months time it'll be paid, at least you can budget around it and be okay still. That's the main thing. Well done on not getting the girls McDonalds. I had to get one a few weeks ago and really wish I'd just pushed the boyfriend to walk round to Asda with me to grab something from there instead (we were rushing for the cinema or we would have got a proper sit down meal somewhere) I felt ill afterwards at how much I'd paid and how hungry I still was.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Quick spending diary update before I head off to work! Did my food shop last night and spent:
£31.33 in Aldi
£15.22 in Asda for what I couldn't get in Aldi
£10 on a birthday cake for my youngest
£25 petrol.
Means I'm now at -£55 which helps a bit!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
