Thanks so muchSaw a house last night we loved and it's walking distance from my work so would save me £82 a month in travel which is just under the amount we'd pay in council tax :money: Looks like we'll be putting in an offer and then off to talk to banks to see if we can get a mortgage. If I have to pay off my OD with savings then I will but I'll still keep the figure in my sig until I've paid that amount back into savings for us so it doesn't just disappear. This month is such a long month as I got paid December 23rd and don't get paid again until Jan 30th  I'll get there though, still got cash but I'm forgetting its there so that I don't spend it.
HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Today has been a weird day. I don't like anniversaries to do with my mum, as it brings up a lot of heartache. As horrible as it sounds i just want the day to be over now.
Anyway, an update.
I posted off the amazon books. Didn't cost anything as posting was prepaid.
Sky called. Apparently I can't cancel the HD til Marchwhen the contract is up, so have to call back in Feb to give my notice.
Have had a bit of a 'splurge' week budget wise. I've ended up spending more than originally intended because of wanting to feel a bit better, which just goes to show I'm still human and vulnerable to needing 'retail therapy' every now and then.
Today I spent:
£9 on some clothes in the peacocks sale (3 tops and 2 skirts for the girls. Couldn't resist such a bargain. There are plus sides to companies going into administration...
£20 on petrol
£10 on a plaque which me, DP and the girls went down the cemetary to put on my mum's grave for her birthday.
£44.77 in Aldi
£12.50 on school shoes for my youngest, as hers were starting to fall apart (her 4th pair since she started school in September!)
£9.84 in Asda on what I couldn't get in Aldi.
So all in all it could've been worse really, even with a bit of a splurge I can still pay a chunk off the card.. Having updated my budgets after all that I'll be able to pay off £53.24 off the credit card, plus £28.74 from my wages. At least it'll get it under £500 so still a bonus. I'm not going to pay it off until my child maintenance and/or wages goes in though, as that money that's spare is all I have left in the account and I don't like it being at zero just in case! Soon as the other money has gone in I'll pay it off.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
