Crikes! Thats an impressive list Fairy. I am in awe of those who go onto sites and build up credits/money/freebies. I wouldn't know where to start.
For someone who is finding it hard to do the positives, (I know how this feels) you are doing a brilliant job.
    Very inspirational Fairy.
Just goes to show that we can all find some positives if we look hard enough
    Thank you and kind regards

Aw thanks so much for your lovely post slowdown :) with regard to the sites to use its just about picking a couple and seeing how you get on with them. I had never done any online earning (apart from ebay) before June this year and felt rather overwhelmed with it all too - thats why i decided to write my blog about it - meant i could try it and see but with having a record of what worked and what didn't LOL! So far i think i am up to almost £100 earning on different survey sites etc :D

Sometimes i think my issue is about recognising what i have actually managed to do (hence the importance of this challenge for me!!) and sometimes it is just ok if sleeping or watching tv is a positive then i can say i have done something :rotfl::rotfl:

I really surprised myself about what i had achieved yesterday, and was delighted to read everyone elses achievements too :) so it just reminded me about why i should log in :)

Thanks Aesop :) and well done on voucher # 3 progress :D

Thanks suzitiger too for letting me know about the free listings weekend - i think i will try and list some 99p ones today as well (cos i said i was going to list 5 things LOL!) but we will see :p

    Hi all
Just checking in with a few positives. Its a good job I discovered this forum as I think I may have stayed in front of the tv with the miraculously self -filling cup of wine instead of trying to remember things that have been achieved today.
    29. did a bit of tidying up in the kitchen before leaving for work to stop myself getting fed up with the place looking like armageddon when I got home
    30. went for a lunch time walk despite the freezing fog and drizzle
    31. finished a couple of work tasks that have been hanging over me for a while
    32. snuggled up in front of the fire with the Jess the cat
    33. ate two cakes at work (calling this a positive as it could easily have been five!)
    34. still putting off handing over the reddies to Mr B.Gas though am now under mountainous quilt and dressed like Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Fairy, aesop and others thanks for giving me advice on how to find out about earning extra bucks on the internet. I might just give it a go. I will set about collecting time credits to think it through. As for sleeping and watching tv as positives? Marvellous pastimes I believe. Beats half slogging yourself to death on the old treadmill of life any day. Hooray for 'naughty' pastimes I say. Most things can be positive if you look at them from the right angle. (Even cake eating!)
    Happy positives

made some pea and ham soup

got swaggers points up to 164 since claiming this morn :) oh and OH now has an account too :rotfl:

Just popping in to list Saturday's positives.
    35. got up early and scooped up horse poo from funreral director's fields into car (he runs horse drawn funerals)
    36. spread said poo onto vegetable patch
    37. bought DS1 birthday present for tomorrow
    38. took DS1 and friend bowling in evening (my idea of a nightmare)
    39. only drank a small amount of alcohol
    40. Still defying Mr B. Gas. Long live global warming. (joke btw)

I think all of these may be conteracted by the effect of me spending way too much money but now have enough food to last until payday I hope though beans may be on the menu once or twice (a day!!!!)

Used up time credits in bowling alley contemplating the enormous range of people who enjoy having loud music, screaming kids, competitive bolshy men, burberry clad teenagers as part of their saturday night entertainment. Can you tell I live in Essex?

    Happy Sunday to all

  • Oh my bad...not been here. Truth be told, have been feeling pretty rotten. Anyway, am not gonna try and catch up with the week, let's just go for yesterday and today.

    Saturday:
    1. Topped up on the food cupboard, was good and went to the market and L1d1, instead of taking the easy option and going to sainsbugs. Sure I must have saved a few quid.
    2. DD is catching the thrift bug, and is making her xmas presents this year, all food. So joined her in the search for ingredients at lower prices: Market, and the Asian stores.
    3. Yuummy, yummy dinner, with a bottle of wine I didn't buy. Nice treat.

    Today:
    1. 2 loads of washing on the line, such a lush autumn day here in London.
    2. Bread made, ran out during the week, so made double.
    3. Started a dairy here.

    2 x:) please.

    Thank you.

Ok.Now for today's positives. It's been a tricky day as have felt tired, bit fed up and not very well, but as it is DS1 s 16th birthday tried to make an effort.
    39. enjoyed watching son open present he has long awaited and then watched him hug and kiss it, me DS2 and DH in appreciation
    40. went for a walk in beautiful sunshine with DH
    41. spectated at DS1 rugby match where they won
    42. had an afternoon snooze
    43. struggled to do any work but managed to do some this afternoon in preperation for the week ahead
    44. only spent 90p on a cup of tea instead of £2.75 on a latte
    45. got ingredients together to make pear chutney (lovely recipe on BBC site)

So there we are. Once again delighted to see the achievements and can't thank Fairy and everyone else for this site. It makes me feel so much better. Hope you are now fully recovered now vintage.
    Here's to the week ahead.
    Kind regards
