Yesterday I:
1. Did a deal with a colleague at work - in exchange for me knitting her a pair of socks I get 40 quids worth of yarn (and she already gave me the yarn!) must start knitting those socks
2. Finished knitting phone cozy (christmas present)
3. Started sewing another pom pom scarf - got it half finished (christmas present)
4. Did a survey on my survey (they are getting harder to find - must be cause it's so close to Christmas)
5. Rather than go shopping like normal at the beginning of the week eeked out the food in the cupboard to make a meal and planned tonights meal without shopping to. Going for the theory that making seven days money last nine I will be quids in at the end of the month.Grocery Challenge £114.22/ £1100 -

Yey! back from hospital, going to look for the positives of today, here goes
1. The hospital provided free transport home so didn't have to pay for a taxi, i didn't know they did this?
2. Caught the bus there at £4.20 instead of £16.00 on the train
3. 2 NSD's
4. No more buying paracetamol in bulk
5. Having heard myself mutter Oliver style 'Please sir can I have some more morphine', things you thought you'd never say!
Don't feel too ill at the mo, told it will feel worse before it feels better though, thanks for all the well wishes xxxvintage43:A

Ah yes Mr B.Gas. I loathe giving him my hard earned pennies too. He has put up my Direct Debit from about £12 a month to £110 a month due to building up a debt over last winter!. I don't think I have waited this long before putting it on but my mean streak is winning out at the moment. My boys are teens who give off heat rather than needing it but once the thermometer in the bedroom goes below 12 degrees I find it hard to get out of bed!
Today I
11. only ate one cake at work
12. ate a jam tart at home ( I have a terrible way of celebrating eating)
13. walked at lunch time
14. walked with a friend after work so did 12000 steps in all
15. had a NSD
16. am about to go to my yoga class
Glad to hear you are back home vintage, presumably a little lighter in the throat area. I think you should devote your aims to getting better and finding nice things to spread on your toast.
Hope you all had a productive, positive day and here's to wishing for more of the same tomorrow.

Just out of curiosity how did you find your bus journey. I love the idea of going everywhere by bus but the service round here is rubbish. Im right on the end of the tube line so I suppose not many people bother with it.Yey! back from hospital, going to look for the positives of today, here goes
