    5 things for me today
    11. do 10 minutes of meditation at some time during the day
    12. go for a walk during my lunch hour
    13. have a spend free day
    14. ring my mum (she lives over 300 miles away)
    15. finish the ironing
Not sure how I will do today. Have woken up very tired and have to fit work in but I love highlighting the achievements at the end of the day so it helps no end coming on here.
Thanks to everyone and good luck to you all with your aims for the day

  • Oh, I haven't been here all weekend...but maybe that hasn't meant I have had my eye of the ball.

Good to see more people joining the thread, and the challenge.

    So as a catch up:

    Saturday:
    1. only needed to buy milk for the week.
    2. Free dinner at my parents...after
    3. Dad paid for me and DD to go to a fireworks display (though I did buy candy floss, for me and my step-mum)

    :)

    Sunday:
    1. NSD...
    2. Had a friend join us for Sunday dinner
    3. Resisted the urge to use the tumble drier

    :)

Didn't put this anywhere before....but reduced my Lovefilm charges by nearly £4 with an extra disc allowed!

    good luck vintage xxx

Sorry lost internet connection all weekend but this allowed me to focus on getting lots done. Here's my 5 for both Saturday and Sunday:-

    Saturday 5th November:-

    1. Found receipts for leftover items after doing floor in house for B&Q which allowed me to...
    2. Returned above items to B& Q and got £143 credited back to the account :j
    3. Resisted the urge to buy a hot chicken and craft magazine whilst in Tesco's getting bread and milk (saving a whopping £10!) :T
    4. Picked up a superdrug loyalty card whilst in town
    5. Was supposed to be going round friends for fireworks but cancelled it because of weather (this saved us at least £25 in fireworks and meant I was nice and warm inside watching strictly and x factor - another result!)

    Sunday 6th Nov

    1. Joined swagbucks and already have 56 bucks
    2. Booked two more craft fairs
    3. Went through DD's and SO's in bank account to see if I could cancel any (sadly not)
    4. Made magnets for craft fair coming up soon
    5. Made sure I had something to eat before I went out so I was not tempted to buy anything whilst I was out

Thats me done. Back again later with today's efforts (internet permitting!) xx

Thanks for the positive vibes suzitiger, I'm sure it works. I'm always up early in the week as DH gets up at 5.30 and I have to leave at 7.30 having shoved two reluctant teenagers out for the bus so will be posting my wishful achievements early and updating in the evening.
Didn't manage to get all of them today but pleased with what I did.
    11. spoke to my mum for an hour on the phone
    12. walked at lunch time with a colleague and after work with a friend so did a total of 12560 steps
    13. had a no spend day
    14. am about to do a meditaion before going to sleep
    15. chat with sis on the phone and she really made me laugh

didn't manage to finish the ironing which will now have to wait until next weekend. Hey Ho.

I love the way people post their resistances to temptations. It always an achievement to stay strong and not give in no matter how small the challenge so well done to everyone.
Happy and positive thoughts to you all for tomorrow( especially vintage and her tonsils)
    (well actually not her tonsils)
    Kind regards
    Slowdown:)

    5. Tidied up the house a bit and put some more things on freecycle-slowly getting there with the de-cluttering
Have a lovely day tomorrow everyone!!
