Still, it was pretty..and i was pretty late home too. haha!
Slowdown, well done for not eating too many cakes, you will have burnt them off with your walking I am sure anyway
You made me chuckle, i have the same thing, a terrible way of celebrating excercise, it usually ends in chocolate or ice cream (sigh, oh well) Were the jam tarts ones you had made at home the other day? Ooh I guess I should put mondays list of positives up...
(By the way, I apologise for the lack of apostrophes, for some reason everytime I try to use one it brings up "quick links" at the bottom of my browser and wont let me use them!! No they have a fish forum and they have been just saying nonsense about our fish - making out we are not keeping them properly etc - its rather upsetting as we work really hard at keeping them in top condition  they are obviously just trying to ruin our reputation as we are competing with them now!! I mean competition is part of business but i hate it when people start playing dirty tricks like that

Yey! back from hospital, going to look for the positives of today, here goes
1. The hospital provided free transport home so didn't have to pay for a taxi, i didn't know they did this?
2. Caught the bus there at £4.20 instead of £16.00 on the train
3. 2 NSD's
4. No more buying paracetamol in bulk
5. Having heard myself mutter Oliver style 'Please sir can I have some more morphine', things you thought you'd never say!
Don't feel too ill at the mo, told it will feel worse before it feels better though, thanks for all the well wishes xxx

Oh yes that is nasty and underhand isn't it. Competition is healthy and keeps you on your toes, that's how they SHOULD view it
Shame they can't handle it. I just tried to reply to ur Pm fairyclicks but it says ur inbox is full so i couldn't send it
I have joined with the link tho

Thanks for starting this thread, fairy, and I would like to join in please.
I've been lacking somewhat in motivation and feeling kinda down lately, so hopefully this will give me a boost.
Will be following Southern Sadie's lead and attempting to do things in each of several categories. Mine will be finances (as in, saving and managing £), MPCs (making £, more below), DH (eg. making him proper lunches!), health (exercise, etc), home (as in tidying, organising and cleaning, which I am rubbish at!).
MPC = multiple profit centre. The term is from a book I read ages ago called Making a Living Without a Job. Basically an MPC is an income source, so my MPCs may be surveys, my websites, competitions, cashback sites, GPT sites, and so on. The idea is that some MPCs you can get set up, then they will generate income without too much further effort. Like setting up a website, for example.
Anyhoo, I will try for a minimum of SIX positive things per day, let's see how it goes!R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0 -
Can I just say I am so impressed with you all doing so many extras to make more money. You have a huge amount of creativity among you. Its like you could run a mini country all on your own!
Today my positive things were
17. only ate one cake at work again today
18. went for a walk at lunch time
19. had a NSD (3 in a row, minor miracle)
20. meditated in the car to beautiful music while DS1 finished rugby practise
21. read all your posts and enjoyed seeing you all be so successful
22. still didn't put the heating on (Ha Ha Mr B.Gas)
23. smiled at my boss(this took effort and determination)
Cor! This is really starting to make me feel better. I am even going out of my way to try and do a positive thing just so I can add it to my list!
Have a great day tomorrow everyone. And yes suzitiger the jam tarts were my own creation. (someone has to eat them!)
Kind regards
Slowdown:)0
