I posted back in November...
Claim upheld in August
Part payment in September
After nearly 6 months of waiting I still have not recieved all my money. I feel like screaming!!!!! I have chased once a week, every week, for the past 2 months with no luck.
Someone help!!!0 -
Well,
I recieved my offer letter on Oct 17th 2011. we are now at 119 days and counting. I have written a further letter of complaint to LLoyds (8 weeks ago) and I am now about to embark on handing that complaint over to the Financial Ombudsman.
Lloyds did give me some money before Christmas, but that was because they stopped the payments of PPI on my existing loan and thought it prudent to pay that back - no interest, no notification!!!
So, I continue to wait for my £11,000+ and in the meantime continue to pay off my exisiting loan and struggle from month to month:mad:

I got my letter on 20th Sept, i've been calling and emailing most days. I managed to get some of it paid out (money from my closed loans) however still waiting on £3.5 K to be paid from my open loans... which they say they cant pay until my payments have been recalculated and my new payments are set up but they've been saying this for 6 weeks now and its getting very boring. I've emailed Andrea Barry 5 times in the past week with no answer and 1 of those was to praise a member of staff so it looks like I'm being ignored. Getting really sick of it they would be quick enough to take payments from us or to seek legal advise if we refused to pay it up. I've been in touch with my local MP but as yet still waiting to hear what he can do.. I have 2 young children and need this money for Christmas
me too...oct 17th and still waiting. Although they did sort out my exsisting PPI payment and paid that back, without interest!! still waiting on the rest though. Good Luck :rotfl:0 -
I got my letter telling me my claim was approved on 12th October 2011. Fobbed off with excuse after excuse why payment has not been made and today, 13th February, still waiting. Never mind how many days or weeks they say it will take, we're talking months and then possibly years. I put my claim in last May!!!!!
Halifax are a bunch of footpads and their staff shamelessly lie through their teeth and think we have 'mug' written on our foreheads. I may start making threats of court action to my branch manager and see if it makes any difference. I doubt it will. Bankers seem to be less than bothered about their customers affairs, unless it means we own them money. The other way round does not even register with them.0 -

Re LLoyds
I have now recieved my payment..after waiting 67 days, i know that this is a lot shorter than some people, so keep hanging in there, it will come eventually xx0 -
I put a ppi claim to Lloyds TSB in September 2011,got letter in December 2011 saying howmuch I am to be paid back (with the usual,"you will receive payment as quickly as possible" in it) now Febuary 2012 and after the total waste of time ringing up and talking politely to their Robotic Staff who obviously have no Pulse!....Still not received any payment !!!.I like everyone else on here am finding it unbelievable Lloyds TSB are getting away with this !.I don't need to go on about if it were me owing them blah, blah (you all know that one).I have tried everything, first calling in Branch that miss-sold me the ppi,"nothing to do with us" they said, well I can assure anybody who's reading this that I was in my Branch of Lloyds TSB and not Argos,Toys R Us etc, secondly numerous waste of time phone calls to number on letter, third rang Ondbudsman who could not advise me on anything!!,they did say I could submit a complaint but it might delay payment even more !!! AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH !!!!! .
Why have none of the many TV,Radio consumer programmes highlighted this.I do realise I'm not by any means alone in this
though like everything else we just have to wait and "know your place".:mad:0 -
I never post on forums on line but felt I needed to vent my anger somewhere!
I filed a complaint back in June 2011. And was extremely happy with the amount I was due back. However.....EIGHT MONTHS LATER I still have not been repaid my money. Even worse I have had no correspondence though the post, even though I have rang Lloyds about 9 times and each time they apparently ‘resend’ the letter. Not one has reached me. I then asked them to email it to me, they took my email but again I have heard nothing. I received the interest on the money they owe to me in early December and was told that the remainder would follow. Nearly three months later I’ve had nothing else.
It is absolutely disgusting that Lloyds are getting away with this. I asked on the phone that my interest be recalculated to reflect the long delay I have had but was told that trying to claim further interest would delay payment even further. I have written to the complaints department in early Jan and again, heard nothing back.
I am in financial hardship and this money would really solve alot of my problems and worry, however Lloyds WILL NOT HELP ME!
The only bit of information I can give the rest of you guys is that whenever I call up they ask if my loan that the PPI related to has been paid off – which it has – they then say ‘oh well I don’t know why its so delayed then’. Therefore giving the impression that if you still owe on the original loan then the delay may be longer.
I hate Lloyds with a passion, over the years I have paid so much money in extortionate bank charges, over draft fees, and have been chased when I have made the odd late payment on my loan. It is disgusting that they can behave like this and get away with it. Serious action needs to be taken. I don’t understand how they are getting away with it. Please tell me that I’m not the only one like this
Has anybody got any advice on what I can do now?0 -
