I ordered about 1:30-2:00am that morning and I only got a cancellation email 9 days later, nothing else apart from the money taken/reserved from my account. No other emails.
Pretty disappointed to see other customers who ordered 9+ hrs later get their orders fulfilled.
I wrote an email to customer services and the ceo but really annoyed with Staples in general.0 -
Thanks OP - I ordered the evening that this glitch was posted but heard nothing, however this morning 3 things happened - I received an acknowledgment email, the money came out of my bank, and 10 mins ago the TNT driver delivered my parcel - Coffee & diaries for next year.
Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -
Is there anything else I can do? Thanks.
it would largely depend on what you ordered, please understand that soo many orders and so many neededing to be cancelled or amended will undoubtedly leave human error in the mix.
if you got a cancellation email, then unfortunately it is cancelled and not a great deal they can do about it, what item did you order?0 -
I just got another delivery of coke woohoo !!!
That's 5 in total

It was the HP printer but like a lot of people ordered way before those that received them who ordered 9hrs later.
Also hearing some people are able to use their codes for other purchases who had their printers cancelled by calling the helpline....?0 -
I did one order of teabags on the 26th and received only a welcome pack which arrived today. No cancellation e-mail either. I was gasping for a cuppa too...0

Legally they are screwed on that one but only if they sent the order confirmation out. They didnt do that with most but they did with many.
Totally unprofessional.
So why don't you sue them?0 -

Yeah, it's a bit unfair the way the orders have been processed. My items were in stock when I ordered (in theory at least) yet because I ordered early on I had less chance of getting them than someone who ordered the next day?
Would be great if that last bit was true!! Can anyone confirm that?.•
