perhaps i am explaining this wrong,
I want to work, no if's not buts...
whilst working for an agency, i have the protection that if i am poorly, i can take time out until i am well again, if the same working for a company, you are likely to loose your job.
rather than being employed by a company.. i would rather fill out timesheets each week for an agency that i know, who know me, will send me on jobs that i am capable of..
there is no difference here apart from the agency find the work suitable for me, rather than me apply for jobs i think i can do and failing misrably..
i'm not needing to stop any benefits yet, BUT I choose to want to do this now, I am not dragging anything out to get every penny i can grab on benefits, i am choosing to try and get work now..
whilst some people use the job centre / newspaper /internet job sites, i found it would be easier for me to go to my old agency who i have previously worked for, who know my work record, who i have explained why i left work 2 years ago, they understand, have listened and if they can will find something suitable for my needs.
if a job came up with asda, that i could do, brilliant, i'd do it..
what i have chosen to do is ask an agency to help me find suitable work.0 -

What do you think that an agency can do for you that you cannot do for yourself? If you think they will keep offering you work when you break assignments due to illness, you are mistaken.
I am still confused as to why you are claiming ESA, when you openly admit that you are fit for work.0 -

I think to be fair that Mupette is probably not fit for work but is more in need of the income work would provide when she can no longer claim esa.0

I havent said i was fit for work, but that i want to work.. whats with the word 'admit'
i've just come out of a relapse if thats what you mean,
why can't i use an agency to take the stress out of this... sorry didn't realise disabled can't ask for help...
So you're not fit for work?0 -
