  • Hello People,
Thank you for the lovely wishes xxxx

I am sleepy and bit hungover. Last night even tho I left home in a right strop turned out to be excellent fun and I am glad I started the year surrounded by my friends whom I love very much. It was a bit difficult as it was couple city with a side ordering of small (adorable) children which makes me feel I am rather missing out and to be honest I do want children. Well I did. I don't know. Not really the time or the place for such thoughts. I think that is one I shall put down as "we shall see".

Any how. Plans for today were meant to include a sorting of the room which post Christmas has many lovely things that need homes and some lovely things that need to go to new homes. So far I am sat on the sofa comtemplating a disco nap.........:)

I am going to do the bank thing. I can be doing something whilst safely on the sofa!!

    Hope you are all well

    xxxx

  • About six months ago I made little savings accounts,

for Birthdays, Pets, Union and Car

My union fees were due this month (so nice in January!) 172 pounds. Well I had the normal holy cow moment of how am I going to pay that.

Until I logged into online banking!

150 of the pounds are there waiting! And I have 50 quid in each of the other accounts.

The credit card bill is a little worrying but doesn't have to be paid till the 9th Feb (there is some interest). 1500 pounds.

Once all my bills have been paid out I shall pay what I can off this month. I will use the magic 700 pounds savings. Don't want to move anything yet, keep thinking I have forgotten something.

I have set up (buoyed on by my success) a house account (for this house, washing machine is making interesting noises. A holiday acount (got one wkend away planned already plus want to go to Rome and America with Mum) and a 365 days account.

I have to say this is a very odd feeling.

I do have the CC debt, but could possibly pay that off in a couple of weeks, I have some money towards all expenses and once into Feb able to put dentist fees on CC without inccurring any interest.

Things are not as bad as I thought!

I guess the thing with the work is that if you do 15 min chunks of it, you will get some of it done. Good luck with it, and don't put it off anymore!!!!!
