Belated happy christmas, glad it was as good as it could be. Have been ill all over the festive period, so nice and quiet. I liked it even if no one else did. Good luck with your list. I am sure you can achieve it. Just don't start on the oh I won't go this week, cos I have x to do. Fit those sessions in!

Is seriously blushing, you know sometimes I forget people read this!
Anyhow back to the anonymous world of the internet for some ponderings
I have spent 3 days doing very little. The kind of time my friends with young children would kill for. I watched tv, I did some light shopping, stayed up watching harry Potter and generally if it was covered in chocolate I ate it.
And what have I discovered?
That doing that does not make me happy.
Not at all. I feel fat, lazy and like I am wasting my life. I also have a bit of a thick head feeling and feel generally Blah.
admittedly Tuesday was good fun but today and Wednesday hmmm. I did go out with Mum yesterday and was too knackered to do anything when we got back. Journey was meant to take 40 minutes we were out for about four hours. Don't ask.
Today i went shopping just Sainsburys who should frankly just get a DD from my wages straight to them. The rest of the day was spent pondering and watching tv.
And I keep staying up late. REALLY late.
I have also discovered Evernote - free software, thanks to the Messies thread (my spiritual home)
There was going to be more but I got distracted by FB.........

Hey Buffy
I can so relate to the feeling that you have wasted time if you have done nothing. To be honest, its also a chance for you to be able to have a break.
Don't feel like you have wasted the time but do try and do things that help you fill your soul - rather than lists of things that 'have' to be done.

Today I am completely in two minds.
I stayed up till two thinking, been doing that so much lately. Since being signed off and going back to workmy sleep patterns are shot. I now only have 3 days till work starts again. Panic is setting cos i haven't done any work. My own fault. I am not up to date. The thing is that even if I had done all the work I brought home I STILL wouldn't be up to date. Ok Ok I know I would be in a better position then now.................
I have been wondering about my future.
I wish I could be bothered to type out my thoughts. But I really can't. There are too many and I am not in a strong place teally, too worried about criticisms.
Plus I am worried about work when I should just do the bloody work and stop arsing about.

Sometimes we need to do nothing in order to achieve something Buffy. I have made myself slow down a little just lately and can sometimes think straight now. You will get there my friend.0

Hey Buffy
These thinking times can be hard - they are testing for you and can really make you question what you are doing and why. Be kind to yourself - we are all our own harshest critics but it is so much hard for us to be our own cheering squads!
There are so many things that you are fab at - don't forget that.
