I love the baby watermelons, they are so cute!
I just thought that I had to get the flu jab the past few years as my husband had cancer and I was his sole carer and I bet that was why I felt so ill after each jab. It contains eggs. Oh, there is an egg-free version now I just read.2 -
I've never seen baby watermelons, just massive ones.
Interesting about the egg free flu jab, would definitely be worth trying that out.1 -
Watermelons are lovely 😁 I must admit that I have, on occasions, cut off the top, scooped some out, poured in vodka, put the lid back on and left overnight in the fridge 😉 very nice and I'm sure it still counts for your 5 a day! 😂3

Can't wait for watermelon season, love them. Never tried grilling, but will try and remember to do that this year. A veggie friend and I usually buy one between us, as we are both on our own, and could never manage to go through a whole one before it went off. Actually, we do that with other things like cabbage and cauli when they are huge, and we can't find little ones at the market.
However, have you thought of blitzing what you can’t eat in a blender and then drinking it?
Even easier that way!(I just lurve spiders!)

I'm feeling much better today and I woke up hungry. I had a toasted bagel with PB, sliced banana and a sprinkling of hemp seeds.
I have loads of parsnips so I will make maple roasted parsnips, roast potatoes, peas, carrots, gravy and a Quorn burger later.2025 GOALS

Pyxis, the watermelons are absolutely massive, they don't seem to do small. I don't drink anything other than water as a cold drink. I have tried, but I'd really just rather have water, mineral water or plain soda with a slice of lemon. My friend and I normally go to the market on a Friday and get all our fruit and veg, so it's quite easy to share things if need be, albeit we can't do it at the moment.
Wednesday, so glad that you are feeling a bit better today, and feel like eating again.2
