topcashback - you make me sick

Hello folks,
Forgive me if I have put this in the wrong place and if I am all over the place with this. I am not in good health at the moment.
I have had nothing but trouble with topcashback ever since I joined them a few months ago. From (seemingly deliberate) incompetent customer service when I submitted enquiries to things like stalled payments to just outright crookedness. Copy and paste replies from nameless persons to frustrate me into giving up chasing payments - some replies from them were outright nasty. Cashback has been lowered after the transaction reported, some even went to zero in the last week or so.
Today, I went to check in to see if the cashback that was due to be payable on 30th September had become payable. My account is now seemingly non-existant. No explanation in any email received from them of course. The money that they have cheated me out of is at least £73.57 (the last balance showing from a few days ago and excludes what was turned to zero and what was lowered). I can ill afford to loose this money.
Never have I had such a bad time from a crowd of dishonest, rank amateurs as I have had at topcashback. I trusted them after seeing TV adverts and the supposed good reputation from members on the site. I wonder if some of the posts were published by the site themselves with critism about them removed?
"Unfortunately we do not have the resources to offer TopCashBack members telephone support but if you’re a member and have an enquiry, please feel free to reach us via our help and contact pages." What about their so-called "fair play policy"? They claim they treat others the way they want to be treated. Good grief!
40% of members not being paid by them I read somewhere here, I think it was. What a disgrace. I feel sick after this unfairness, I am already in poor health so this incident has been devistating. I also feel robbed by this dishonest company who I think have no intention of paying. Have topcashback ever been investigated over their conduct?
Anyone know how to deal with this company to get their money? Should I go to a debt collection agency or the courts? They will not act in a fair, honest or reasonable manner.

If you are as new to TCB as you are to this forum, you may want to read some more of the info on their site. The payable dates you see are just expected dates; they can and will only pay you when they have received the money from the merchant in question - and some of those are not as good as others when it comes to paying up in a timely manner. Which merchant are we talking about here?If your e-mails to TCB were in the same tone as your post here, I'm not surprised they have suspended your account ...On the health front, hope you feel better soon.0

Password was entered correctly. To ensure, I copied and pasted it from a previous email notifcation.Takecareofthepennies wrote: »If you are as new to TCB as you are to this forum, you may want to read some more of the info on their site. I asked tcb several times about payable dates being long past, all I got was gibberish replies and vexation from tcb. The same, copy and paste rubbish which explained nothing and was clearly designed to cause distress. If I could copy and paste them here, I would.
Merchants: Transpennine Express, Energylinx, play.com, highstreetweb, kelkoo, hmv, mobilephonerecycling, scottish and southern energy amongst others. No coherent reply ever received from tcb. That is their fault, not mine! I asked why payments are being delayed, they said they weren't when the dates had clearly passed. It took them over six weeks to send an amazon voucher code. Again, no coherent reply from a nameless individual it would seem.Takecareofthepennies wrote: »If your e-mails to TCB were in the same tone as your post here, I'm not surprised they have suspended your account.
That was a bit uncalled for. Simple questions were put to them, which were not hostile as you seem to have implied. Vexation form tcb was all I ever got. What about the money the screwed from me? That would count as theft surely? There is no mention of my account being suspended.
There is something posted here about 40% of their members not being paid. Combined with tcb lowering rates after transactions were made, I hate their seemingly systemic dishonesty. Bullying members, like what tcb did to me, is a disgrace.0 -
That was a bit uncalled for.
Point taken since I don't know the wording of the replies you got.
Over the years, TCB has, on balance, worked better for me personally than Quidco. On a couple of occasions, when they could not obtain the cashback from the merchant, they even offered half the amount out of their own coffers. Given that all cashback websites clearly state that cashback is not guaranteed (but depends on tracking working and merchants actually honouring their commitment), I don't think that's too bad.
I am sorry that your personal experience with TCB is not good. Haven't seen the 40 % not getting paid claim, but I somehow doubt that.0 -

Hi,
I don't like to discuss the ins and outs of one person's accounts in a public domain, but I feel I need to respond to this thread.
There are a number of reasons why your account has been suspended:
1) You created duplicate accounts which is against our Terms & Conditions.
2) You personally abused Top CashBack staff and used profanities towards them which we find unacceptable.
3) You made many accusations against Top CashBack which were false - including withholding your payments etc. The nature of our business means we cannot pay out cashback to members until it is received by Top CashBack.
4) There are patterns of abuse against some of our free cashback offers.
I'm not sure where the 40% of Top CashBack users not getting paid is from, but this figure is again inaccurate.
If you wish to discuss this matter further, please email the address shown in our MSE profile.
Regards,
Adam

Personally I've had approx £400 from them in the last couple of years without problem. Their CS has been very helpful when I've had cause to query anything. I'm sorry you're having problems0

Using phrases such as dishonest rank amateurs may explain the suspension of your account. I wouldn't deal with someone describing me like that either.0

I use TCB and just had a payment from a transaction started in March 11 pay out 3 months late. but it was paid, I suppose it is when TBC get the cash themselves. Other payments have been very quick!
Thanks TCB!0 -

If they were abusive and broke TCB T&C as claimed I hope it's never.0
