I have been with them for around 5 years now and never had any problems and have always found the online support helpful.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

On the whole happy with TCB, a few non tracking items go round in circles but they c/s ops always seem to try and help.
Service is far quicker than others. Will be using them coming up to Xmas:)0 -
Have to say in support of complainer although if poster had multiple acconuts then different issue but i have
£15 from fireplace world spend £400 outstanding since june 10 tcb response awaiting retailer
£8.50 from homebase spent £380 march 11 retailer not recognising order number
and 02 £65 for £10 a month dd contract March 11 awaiting retailer
on the positive have had £180 or so from tcb but have to say after these three have not paid so far and are not even in the pending box i wondered about using them for my pet insurance .
i know the money is not guarenteed but i think from a customer service point of view their responses are not very clear or even have a review date on them i have sent several messages re the above claims that have not tracked and if they had a review date on them it would save me emailing so frequently to see if i am going to recieve any money if you see what i mean.
This post does some up a lot of the frustrations experienced with topcashback, a poor standard of customer service.
For the record, I did NOT had multiple accounts with topcashback. Why would there be any need to? Several of us, in-laws, partners, etc used ONE account between us all. What is wrong with that? I will tell you - NOTHING.
With regards to some of the comments on other posts. I suffer from Autism, Chronic Stress and Depression which makes it very difficult to deal with people at times. When one is getting the run around - deliberately in my case by some nameless character/s from topcashback who has made life pretty much unbearable - it is pretty devistating being cheated and then to have all our money due just vanish, well, it stinks. It was clear that tcb were causing me severe distress, which they then went on to wind me up even further. tcb are little more than playground bullies who take dinner money from those who can't fight back.
It would also appear from some posts that tcb may be telling other people things that I do not know or have been told. If there was a problem, why didn't they say anything to me? Some of the comments here are just libellous, blatently untrue. The spineless tcb people still have not had the courage to say anything to me - or pay up.
If people think that being direct and to the point is being "rude" and "abusive", well I can't change that. Not once have topcashback been straight with me. It is my belief that someone/tcb in general have acted as "agent provacatour" (forgive spelling if it is wrong, probably is) and have taken great delight in their rotten behaviour and the suffering caused.
If tcb had said to me that they though there was a problem and didn't want my custom, explained politely and paid up, then closed the account, whilst not an ideal situation, would have been a honest way of doing things. Not like this.
Footnote:- I stopped using tcb around a month or so before this happened and switched to another cashback site. In some cases, cashback is a little lower but the excellent service more than makes up for this. The people over there seem quite nice. Bit of a hiccup with something that was sorted by them with very little fuss and they waived the annual membership fee in return. More importantly, they apologised for the error and they went out of their way to sort it for me. Brilliant. I've refered others there as well.
Funny how tcb slag off their rivals on their site. Actually, I find this sort of this negative marketing rather distasteful.0 -

That seems a pretty big assumption to make. The TCB rep didn't say this, also OP now denies the multiple accounts.
The problem with this industry is you have to rely on TCB's/Quidco's honesty. How would you ever know if they recieved the affiliate payment or not?
Granted, it's not in their interest in the main to withhold information, but if they get a stroppy/annoying customer it's then at their discression.
Their needs to be more openess and clarity around the whole affiliate/cashback programs in my opinion.A smile costs nothing, but gives a lot.It enriches those who receive it without making poorer those who give it.A smile takes only a moment, but the memory of it can last forever.0 -

I strongly suspect that is one person per account, particularly as topcashback increase the percentage of cashback paid as you spend more. This could well be what has caused the suspension of your account.0 -

The TCB rep said that the OP had 'created duplicate accounts which is against our Terms & Conditions'. This is attempting to receive money by deception.0 -
Far too many newbie posters on MSE making complaints against TCB terminating their accounts. Never seems to happen to long standing MSE members. Conspiracy by a rival?
If the OP is 100% sure that the TCB T&C have been adhered to then seek legal advice. I have been with TCB for years and all of my enquiries have been resolved politely though some have taken over a year.0 -
I joined TCB only a few months ago and I have nothing but praise for them :T. After all, I am getting a bonus for buying things that I would have bought anyway, so it doesn't bother me if payments are later than expected. Some of these have been quite a few weeks late, but have been paid out eventually
It sounds to me that the OP is monitoring dates quite closely and getting frustrated when these aren't met.

As quite a newbie to MSE. I would like to add my experience of TCB.
I joined about a year ago to get a good discount on my car insurance. Now im in the habit of using it for all my online shopping. My experience of them has been positive,as someone else mentioned, the money should be seen as a bonus. Never count on it until its in your bank. Ive had a few orders not tracked but then put in a claim and it was resolved within 2 weeks. Overall i've been impressed with them.Back on the trains again!0 -

TopCashBack T&C
1. Site Membership & Termination of Accounts
As we don’t charge a membership fee, we are happy for you to make the occasional cashback transaction on behalf of other family members or close friends. In other words, we don’t insist that each family member or close friend necessarily have to create their own account. This is subject to fair usage however and one account should not be used to make purchases on behalf of many other people.
