    which benefits is he on
do you have a rent book, showing payments over a period of time ?, that would negate the uncertainty of when your relationship changed from landlord/lodger to live in couple
Would he retain his own room and still lodge there or share your room ? Would his payments to you towards living costs become shared ?
he may be able to retain soom if he maintained his lodger position and just happened to be a FWB ?

IS & DLA, no HB or CTB although I claim single persons discount.

I Charge rent which is paid by direct debit to my bank account.

He has moved into my bed now

Something naked and sprawled across a bean bag just reminds me of my erstwhile elderly flatulent labrador.

He won't lose the DLA. I'd write to the council to remove the single persons discount from when he permanently moved into your room and leave it up to him to tell the DWP about the change of circumstances for IS.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

well DLA wouldnt be affected as that is assessment of needs
you should notify council that youre not eligible for single discount
IS will prob be affected based on duel income

use the mse benefit checker to see what he would be eligible for based on your joint circumstances
