Right - made a mess up on the online forms.

Yes I know! I have read enough here and stuff etc. And I really should know better.

But. I have neglected to put on my form about my life insurance policy and for some stupid reason beyond me totally - I have put down all the kids in my household, but marked that they are not dependent on me! (Of course they flammin are!) I have ensured that OH's form is right and the kids (and I) are dependent on him cos he is the only earner.

Anyway - point is, when I print them off and take them to court (no date yet cos I haven't phoned!) can I just write over them and mark the stupid errors?????

And I blame it ENTIRELY on being fat and pregnant - 4 weeks to due date and my brain has turned to mush. (You want to see the state my OU studies are in right now!)

    Hi Charlotte,

The Court and the OR won't mind crossings out and hand written additions, they're not looking for a work of art, just an accurate assessment of your financial position - as accurate as you're able to of course.

Good luck with the new arrival, we've got four children and two grandchildren and I honestly can't remember all the anxiety and errant hormones associated with babies (and that's just from a male perspective )

  • Long time no see!

Had OR interview today - 1hr 20 mins for me; 1 hr for hubby. It turned out that it was our OR's first one (he had someone observing him, but we thought that it was just a routine procedure) - he came and thanked us afterwards for being nice to him!!

The Good News: £500 overtime from Christmas is ours to keep.
Got a phone call this afternoon to say that we can keep BOTH cars, as we work in different towns at the same time (although I only work 5 hours per week), so we consider ourselves very lucky.
Looks like no IPA (surplus £7 per month at mo), even when our benefits get authorised by DWP, which will boost income by £200/month, but that will be taken with medical/optical/hairdresser/car maintenance/holiday,birthday,christmas, etc. Also clothing for 2 adults and one child set at £34/month at mo, which is low.

So, all in all, a great interview. Only downside is handing a pre-bankruptcy dated cheque for £100 over to OR - small price to pay.

Hope you are all well, and well done to our recent joiners!

    Hi Louise,

Congratulations - two thirds of the way to being completely debt free and discharged.

If all your info was deemed sufficient then they may just ask OH about joint issues. Don`t worry.
