Good Morning fellow B's, nearly B's and B supporters !
What a great weekend ahead. Dont even need to leave the house, I have my new home cinema surround sound to play with that I bought in the sale with my own wages instead of credit like I used too... And some nice wine...0 -

Sounds fab, any decent movies to watch? I'm about to sit down and watch the last three episodes of season 5 of 24 - nail biting stuff!!
Is it my imagination, or has it been a bit quiet around here since we moved?

I'm not sure that I believe what has happened now:
A few months ago, my OH and I decided to seperate our finances.
We had a joint acc. that was £1,000 in OD with Natwest. My own acc. was with them, and it too was -1,000. As he was already with a DM company, and at that point I was still just about up to date with all my creditors, we decided to put the acc. just into my name. If we had closed it outright, they would have wanted the £1,000 and we didn't have it.
They took his card and cheque book and destroyed them in front of us and told us it would take a week to sort out. Two weeks later, he was still on the acc. We chased it up and they said that it hadn't been approved. As you all know, I decided eventually to go BR and as Natwest were one of my biggest lenders with loans and credit cards as well, I changed my bank. I haven't made any payments to anyone for three months now, and suddenly, Natwest have taken my OH's name off the joint account!
What on earth will the OR think of that one??

Oh my word Mike,
Something else came to mind but it's a public forum; we're both feeling a little tender this morning and were trying to think of something to clear our heads but think we'll give that a miss.

We'd been invited by a local photographer to have an hours free session, the theme to be of our choosing, and without going into too much detail it turned into a really enjoyable little party. We didn't spend much money though so it was in keeping with the bky ethos of "looking after the pennies"
Enjoy yr afternoon and long weekend. We've been invited to spend a few days with some friends in Spain mid Feb so we're saving our pennies for the flights.
