  • You do nothing, however if you use it when go shopping you get 1p off per shopping. This also enters you a draw to win 1 months free shopping. You also get free hot drinks at the cafe from time to time and vouchers sent in the post.
  • Saw a load of college kids queuing for a coffee at the cafe, then seeing the sign for a free one with the My Waitrose card - they all shot off to get a temp. card from the checkouts and handed them in for their free drinks! they were all saying that they were not going to apply for a permanent one! When I was talking to a staff member that I knew, she said they all do it! And that HQ were aware of it!!!
  • Got a temporary card a couple of weeks ago and as I live close to Waitrose I decided to pop in for a coffee as I was a bit cold after shopping in my local town. Lady making my Latte asked if I had a W card and I raked through my purse and found it. She then told me I could have a free hot drink - not just today but any/everyday....fantastic as the coffee was great and lovely and hot. You can drink in store or takeaway.:j

They were still offering free Daily Mails in mine yesterday, I thought that offer had expired in Nov.

    This is still running:

From Monday 5 November buy a Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail or Scottish Daily Mail in store, spend over £5 and we’ll take £1.20, 55p or 50p respectively off your shopping.

At least you can avoid the poisonous little rag that masquerades as a newspaper and calls itself the Mail! :)

I got a Christmas card through the post this morning from my waitrose with a £5 off voucher to spend in store when spending £5 or more and a 25% off hamper code to use online. Suppose every cardholder should get the same over the next few days..

I also received the £5 off voucher - very pleased! Last year there was a very high minimum spend applicable with the voucher I was sent (so I didn't bother) but I was pleasantly surprised with this years offer.

I spend so little in Waitrose (mainly because I can't afford it and when I do shop there it's normally all on end of day discounts!) I do use my card when I do shop though, I'm not so sure I'm going to get a Christmas card! This could be interesting...!
